I agree with so many others about this Hardee's. My husband waited forever for his order and it was not what was ordered. Our food sat waiting while the server proceeds to hunt down chocolate for a milkshake for a customer who ordered after him. He gets all the way home and I open mine. It was a nasty watered down hot dog plain. It was suppose to have relish & onions. He ordered cheeseburger & fries. His was cold with over cooked burger & hard nasty fries. The bun of the hotdog was moist, the dog looked gray from sitting in water. Immediately called to speak to the Manager, a woman said she was the manager so I told her about the disaster and the rudeness of the server and it was if I wasn't speaking to anyone, let alone anyone who cared. I told her he was on his way back for a refund, she said as long as he has the receipt. I told her he did that's how I knew where to call. The server and the " Manager " were clueless, rude and didn't care less.
When he arrived he had to wait again while a cash drawer was counted out. Showing again that the customers who secure their jobs matter not to them. I managed a Hardee's for years and told the "Manager" that, explaining I know how hard it is to get and keep good help but you Lead by Example and if you show no desire or interest in taking Pride in what you do, how can you expect any better from your associates ?!?!
It saddens me because we've always thought of Hardee's as having the Best of fast food from Breakfast to all items actually. This Hardee's needs the Franchise owner to step up and get this store together because with all the Negative reviews eventually it will go under like too many have. People will get fed up with being treated rude and poorly prepared food, cleanliness and having to wait SOOOOO long for items that take only minutes to prepare. As a Manager you know when you'll be busiest and should be more than prepared for those times....NO EXCUSE....that is if you care at all. I'm speaking from hands on experience.
As much as we love Hardee's food if we ever try this one again and have the same experience it will be our LAST. I will find out who the Franchise owner is and contact them. Hardee's owners are held to a standard and this just isn't one that practices those standards. My advise to these people, yes it's a job and yes it's tough at times but if you don't want to do the work, QUIT. That would be better than ruining what could be a GOLDMINE with Satisfaction Guarnteed for all who...
Read moreI really hate to do this because some of my fondest friends and acquaintances have worked at this location over the years. I stopped here many times during the days of cruising. The other location has been closed leaving this one as the only one remaining in Gaffney. My grandma used to bring me to Hardee's to get a jelly biscuit before we went to yard sales every Saturday morning. The restaurant used to always be clean and the employees were so courteous and helpful. Those days appear to be gone. The only thing that could cause this is bad management. I have contacted the corporate office to report the unacceptable conditions at this location. I stopped here on Friday 7/31 at 7 pm and ordered the beyond burger. I was told that they didn't have any so I ordered the standard thickburger. During both orders I stated no ketchup or mustard. When I received my sandwich there was so much ketchup and mayo on it that it was dripping from the sandwich. I checked the receipt and there was no mention of the ketchup or mustard. There were no other customers in the drive-thru and 3 cars in the parking lot. This can only mean that she didn't care to even listen to the order. I went again today 8/5 at 3:30 and tried to order again. I sat in an empty drive-thru for 2-3 minutes before a young female said something that I couldn't understand. I asked about the beyond burger and she matter of factly stated that their registers were down. She didn't offer an apology or give an estimate on when the registers would be back up. Those of you who are my age know that you don't need that register to make or sell food because we did it for years. That's twice within 1 week that I've gone to this location and been spoken to rudely and unable to order what I wanted which is on a giant advertisement outside of the building. I don't know if these reviews are even looked at by anyone in charge but if so, please make changes to this location so we can save it from being closed. which is where it's headed.
UPDATE 8/7: I actually went to Lynn's first but they were too busy for me to get my order in on my lunch break so I thought I'd try here one more time. The young man who took my order was nice. The young man who brought my food out was nice. They forgot my curly fries but hey... this is still a huge improvement from the 2 prior visits. Keep up...
Read moreWas not greeted. Cashier and another employee were talking about personal drama and looking at the other young lady's cell phone. Cashier acted like I was a bother. She gave me 3 choices of biscuits to choose from and was rude when doing it. She was irritated that I asked to use the restroom because she had to punch in a code for me to enter. I even thanked her, and she rudely looked at me and walked away. I had chosen the sausage and egg biscuit but was given a chicken biscuit. Hard and dark brown biscuit with over cooked chicken that was not even warm, and it was chewy. Then I remembered why I stopped going to that location in the summer of 1989. The only people doing their job and staying away from the "Drama Club Gal's " was the lady sweeping, cleaning chairs, wiping down tables, emptying trash, and telling people to have a good day as they were leaving. That lady needs a promotion and a good salary. She should be the one training employees on proper edicate and customer care. I will make it a point to stop in there from time to time now and look at the name tags. The "Drama Club Gal's " were not wearing theirs, and I did not get a receipt nor offered a receipt. But I did pay with cash. Also I could not continue eating my food. I gave it to the birds and squirrels on the...
