Five Guys — Restaurant in Gainesville

Worst burger experience in years.

First off it's so overpriced it's nuts. The burger patties are tiny and dry, and the quality and variety of toppings are the worst. You get a WAY better burger at Wendy's for less than half the price. A direct competitor of theirs is Relish and side by side Relish blows them out of the water in every category. Relish has juicy burgers, better toppings, way better options and everything is WAY better quality. The only thing that 5 Guys has going for it is decent fries, and Relish's are still better.

This is the last time I will be going to this place, it's truly terrible. Don't waste your time or your money, a $1 menu item at Burger King is a better option, seriously. I should have taken some pictures because it would be clear as day just how awful this place is.

My husband and I went to 5 Guys for an early lunch today and it took a bit longer than usual since there were a few people who also had the same idea. Service was slower but the order was correct (2 double burgers with everything except tomatoes and lettuce plus cajun fries on the side). The only reason we're giving 3 stars for our visit is that my husband had stomach problems after eating the food and so we won't be going back to this location though we still support their chain. He didn't eat anything other than the burger and fries that day so 🤷 Just be careful when ordering from here since they do get a lot of foot traffic and cooking the burgers may have...

Good food expensive price. I've only been to Five Guys Burgers and Fries a few times. Every time the food was great. Anything that's fried is cooked in 100% peanut oil so you have peanut allergies this is not a place for you. However if you do not have peanut allergies their french fries are very good even when cold. When you grab your food look to the right there should be a bunch of brown bags filled with salted peanuts they are awesome. I wish I would have grab a couple bags of them as they are free.
