A couple days ago, I went here as usual. I ordered my go-to. At the end, I stated I did not want to tip and I went through the drive thru rather than sitting and being waited on outside. I received a bit of attitude after receiving my food and asking for a receipt. It was really hot, so I paid the attitude no mind. Later, I got my receipt via phone/text because they don’t automatically print out and give you. Neither will they print it out if you ask for your receipt. You can only have your receipt sent to you via text AFTER payment for some strange reason. Apparently, they decided to add a tip onto my receipt/payment without my knowledge. That is technically theft and weird. If I felt like tipping, especially in this economy knowing how hard times are for both consumers and producers, I would’ve left a tip. What is the point of a small business adding tip behind people’s backs. Also, this is a college town full of students like myself who simply want to support small businesses. Why do this to...
Read moreLocated off Archer a little bit south of I-75 in the Butler plaza area, this small unassuming drive thru is apparently a well known gem in Gainesville. I was told the lines can get pretty long but when we arrived around noon, it was just us. We looked at the big menu when you drive up but weren't super what we wanted to drink. We then pulled up to the order window and saw they had some additional specials and drinks. Intrigued by a couple of the options, the girl inside was very helpful letting us know what each flavor consisted of. We decided on the iced baklava with oatmilk (pistachio, white chocolate, and honey) and do not sleep on this!! Run to try this if you like those flavors!! While it was a little sweeter than I prefer, it was delicious! We also got a hot creme brûlée and it was good, mainly caramel flavored. Prices were very reasonable and service was quick and friendly. There are a lot of coffee options in this market (we went to 3 different ones in as many days) and this was by far...
Read moreI was passing through Greensville and decided to try this little kiosk after waiting for about five minutes to get weighed on it said there was a three dollar minimum on credit card so I ordered a latte which was $2.99 on the sign. I specifically said no flavoring or sugar. Well my latte was $4.51 and it had flavoring and sugar in it. The top on the coffee was not secured and it spilled all over my $300 jumpsuit. I asked the man about the flavoring and he said oh yeah the soy milk is vanilla. No apology. Then he sees the coffee all over me and I asked for a napkin he doesn't even apologize about that. What in the world is wrong with people? How do you run a business like this? put the proper prices on your sign. That does not inspire confidence. It feels like you're just scamming people put the right price up there and give people what they ask for. If you make a mistake at least have the class to apologize....
