I will say that there pizza is phenomenal. Meaning it’s the classic, traditional pizza that your heart desires. Not fancy or “innovative” pizza. Just straight up pizza. Five Star pizza is the pizza you picture in your brain when thinking of pizza.
I’ve never been a huge fan of pepperoni pizza for 25 years of my life. My friend ordered a pepperoni pizza from Five Star and I am now a convert. Since then, I’ve had many pepperoni pizzas from different places. Funny enough Pizza Hut and Five Star have been my fave. Five Star is first on the list because their pizza is consistent and never fails. There garlic rolls are also so freakin good. They ooze with oil (or butter?) and garlic. Have never gotten one dry roll. There wings are okay—definitely not my favorite but they hit the spot.
I give four stars because I do not like that there cinnamon rolls are the same bread as the garlic rolls, just doused with cinnamon and butter instead of garlic and oil. It just feels weird when I order both and they are the same bread. I’ve also ordered brownies once. Both the cinnamon rolls and brownies are the same price, but cinnamon rolls come with at least half a dozen while the one time I ordered brownies, I only got 4 small/medium sized brownies which were room temperature (borderline cold) and the chocolate chips inside seemed stale. I would have liked to received a warm, soft, oozing brownie. So deserts aren’t their thing.
But if you are looking for some pizza and garlic rolls, Five Star will not let you down and a bonus is that it is cheap. But maybe get your dessert and wings elsewhere! Oh, and the side of ranch is about the size of those little coffee creamers, so order like 10 if you don’t keep ranch stocked in your fridge.
Anyway, pizza and garlic rolls are five stars. Desserts are one star and wings are two to three stars

Read moreThis is Boyfriend's pizza place. Boyfriend has issues with change, so this is now my pizza place. Boyfriend trys to be all healthy and limits himself to pizza every other week, which I find an unacceptably low pizza frequency. Then it occurred to me that I could have pizza without Boyfriend. So, for lunch the other day, I ordered myself a pizza. I went online because I have phone phobia. Their online system was confusing and difficult to work. But damned if I was going to call. I got my pick up order in and I got a confirmation email, saying my pizza was in preparation. It didn't give me an ETA. I chilled for 20 minutes and then set out to pick up my pizza. Man, that place is hard to find! I thought Google Maps was going to blow up my phone. It's sort of inside the block. That could totally be my issue. I'm new and very Google dependant. It's fine; I found it. I went in and got my pizza. Which I was pretty sure had been sitting there for 20 minutes. Boyfriend confirmed that was probably the case and that I should order and immediately go pick it up. Which is weird, as it is literally 4 minutes from the house. That's weird, right? Boyfriend told me this as he was eating my leftover pizza because apparently it doesn't count if he didn't order it himself. The pizza is good solid pizza. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it. There's nothing spectacular about it. I gave them special instructions; they followed them. They have a lightly baked option that Boyfriend likes. That's weird, too, right? This is a perfectly fine place to get pizza from. Just...

We ordered 2 pies on 8/26/19, no one enjoyed the slices. Not the same great taste that we remember. Might've been some bad ingredients on the pizzas this order. 5 of us agreed on...
