I visited Afternoon Coffee for the first time today. I ordered a hot mocha. I didn't wait in line long, nor did it take long for my drink to be made. The staff was working well and quite fast. Although, the person working the register, a sandy blonde woman, caused me to feel quite disgusting.
I paid for my coffee with card, and selected no tip on the register tablet screen with every intention of tipping with cash. In the mere moments it took me to put my card away, before I could even grab my cash tip, she looks to her co-worker and says "No tip- at all". It’s limited mostly to meat and dairy from a local farm which in general I support, except that it’s raw dairy and they proudly advertise that they are from organic cows that don’t get any antibiotics or vaccines. They’re selling products that are dangerous for human consumption from cows apparently receiving care from the veterinary version RFK. Why are we proudly displaying our mistrust of science in this political climate? I expected better from Afternoon and I urge customers to do full research on the dangers of raw milk before feeding it to themselves and their children.
The drink I got tasted fine, it only occurred to me later that they may have used raw milk while making it, but hopefully they would warn customers they’re using milk intended only for the consumption of calves (per...

I am always greeted, order taken promptly, and cappuccino or latte is divine. The beans are curated and masterly roasted. The steamed milk itself is perfectly micro-foamed: glossy, aerated, the sugars slightly caramelized. Service, quality of product, and atmosphere make it my go to coffee shop....
