KFC — Restaurant in Gainesville

Ordered delivery and they use door dash for deliveries. Ordered and door washer Caron j picked up order and delivered it somewhere just not to me. Called driver she said that she would have to turn around and get it back then she just kept driving the direction that she was going.....marked it delivered then the GPS part stops working. Then she stopped answering her phone. Tried calling the store for 30min , no answer. Called door dash customer service. They looked up my order and tried calling the driver and she didn't answer there call either. Then the rep said that I ordered kfc and that kfc would have to be the one to rectify the situation. Called the store back to back until someone answered (about 20 min). The store told me it's a door dash issue not his. And hung up on me. Called kfc 800 # there I was told that all he could do is email door dash to confirm delivery, then he would issue a refund. Couldn't tell me an approximate time frame on this happening so maybe a week or two who knows......I will never deal with this location again. And i don't recommend that you deal with them either. I'm out 33 bucks and my dinner. Not a customer focused location and rude. Would have rated even lower...

I really think this place as a opportunity to be much better than it is. There are some very nice and professional employees and there are some that seem to be busy looking around and walking in and out of the building or taking breaks in the tiny dinning area! I left once because I couldn't get a table and one of the few tables was occupied by a employee. I think KFC has some good chicken for a fast food establishment, unfortunately the employees in the back are not taking the pride necessary in there job to bring a quality product to the consumer. The last time I was there two customers came in one right after the other with drive through order issues! I wanted to return my order as well, but decided to just finish it and never return. I have eaten there six times in the last two months and the sixth time will be my last. Unfortunately, the location is convenient but a few of the employees are ruining it for the other employees and...

I'm a New Yorker, still adapting to Northern Florida living and frequent this KFC. I have ALWAYS been treated right. My order has been correct, and even when asked to wait at the grass, the wait was minimal.

One time, two cars ahead of me, at the drive-thru, a customer dropped a couple of dollars, as he was handing it to the associate. I saw her pointing at the money, and the customer did not leave his vehicle to pick up the money from the ground. I couldn't hear them, but I surmised he was telling her to go get it. She did!

Anyway, I feel that the folks who have been given bad service it's because these folks have had it, or they're rude/difficult themselves. Every negative action can receive a negative reaction...
