Tonight I experienced terrible customer service at it's finest. I am absolutely disturbed by the lack of training on both the management and staff's part. I pulled into the drive thru at about 11:45 tonight and this location advertises a midnight closing time (and yes I understand that late night customers can be annoying but you serve all guests up until closing time). Upon reaching the drive thru speaker box, I got no response. It took me asking if anyone was there to get someone to take my order. I decided I wanted a popcorn chicken meal with a side of mashed potatoes. I was told that the fryer was turned off and they no longer were serving fried items. Given that this is Kentucky FRIED Chicken, I was confused. I was then told to pull up to the window and they rudely gave me my total and took my money without giving me any change. Not only that, but they up-charged my meal. The team member at the window openly expressed her frustration and slammed the window on me. I visibly saw her rolling her neck, yelling, and being very hyperbolic to her coworkers and manger. After finally getting my meal, there was no mashed potatoes in the bag. I knocked on the door to explain this to her and she said "I told you we were out." Given that I paid for it, I expected it. I am taking the time to write this email because I too am a manager at a fast food chain and would be highly disappointed if I new my team had treated a guest this way. Normal day, decided to go to this KFC first time through drive thru, as soon as I pull over I’ve started to browse the menu and within 10 seconds the lady attendant asked if I was ready to order, then I asked to give me a second to decide. 10 seconds after another gentleman come to the speaker saying to hurry up because there was someone behind me, to order inside instead. At that point I am speechless, I totally ignored the guy and continued to decide and complete my order.
Once I pulled to the window the guy is over looking from the kitchen trying to put a mean front I am like what is wrong with this people. I asked the lady what’s the problem, I’ve never been treated this way on meaningless drive thru, she mentioned that ordering timer was running, like for real?
Once I received my order, I told the lady that I’ve never been treated this way that their service is sucks, then she says “if you don’t like it don’t come here again”
Well that summarize why there is no car in the parking lot and the drive thru is empty by them been so hostile.
Shake my head, I’ll never comeback to this place ever again. If you don’t believe me, go by their drive thru and sit in your car for like 10-20 seconds.
This restaurant should be inspected by their Headquarters and closed down or fire...
Read moreI placed a mobile order for pickup today @ 1:45pm but I got there very late around 4:30pm and one of the staff, an east indian guy was very sarcastic and in a straight face told me that somebody picked up my order already. The supervisor was fine and asked about my order and I explained to him that I got caught up with something since I had my car serviced that took so long and I have my kids with me. The east indian guy in the back was very rude and told me that I put pickup time 1:45pm so I should pick it up at that time. And he said that if I receive my order cold that I will complain about it which was very assuming of him. I told him that I’m not complaining since I was the one that arrived late and I had to explain myself again. The east indian guy smirked, laughed and seemed so arrogant the way he talked to me. I wish staff would not come into conclusion about customers and the situations people get into because they dont know what really happened in the background. I wish there were more kfcs or establishments to choose from here in gainesville.
