I arrived at 3:30 in the afternoon and was able to use the order kiosk with ease. I wonder, when will the time come that I’ll have to cook and package my own orders? Should I expect a W-2? There should ALWAYS be someone ready to take an order or assist placing the order at the kiosk. I was not greeted when I entered. There were only a few cars in the drive thru and a couple of people in the dining room. As I finished placing my order and was heading to the counter to pay with cash, (I know, right?! I mean WHO does that?!), a young man stepped out from behind the counter and went to get a tray that was in the dining room. He returned and placed the tray on a stack of trays on the counter. He did not wipe it down. Then he looked at me and in a bored voice asked if I needed help. As we were completing the transaction a young woman came over to get a cookie for a drive thru order. She knocked the tongs off in the floor, picked them up and set them on the counter. After bagging the cookie she picked up the tongs and returned to expo and passed the tongs back and forth in her hands. I don’t know if they ever made it to the dish pit. She never said a word to me. When I placed my order I took a number, it was 6, and entered it. At the counter I was told my number was 394. He didn’t thank me for choosing McDonald’s, and didn’t invite me back. Tell me, why am I supposed to take a number at the kiosk that’s supposed to make it easy for a crew member to bring me my order if I’m going to have to listen for a number and go get it myself? The young man did meet me halfway, and did come back with a fork for my bacon cheese fries. There wasn’t a clean table in the dining room, the condiments area was a mess and there was no ketchup. No one ever came out to clean and restock. Other customers came in and had to wipe off their own tables with napkins just as I had. I needed to use the bathroom, but I didn’t even want to think about what it would look like in there. I went to Kroger and used theirs instead. The food was made to order and was hot. That was the best part of the whole experience. I won’t be returning anytime soon, nor will I be recommending this location to anyone. If you’re going to be in that area, there are many other choices of places to dine. Places where customer service will actually...
Read moreTonight the service and food was good. Quincey was there tonight and did good job explaining how we needed to order to be able to use as many coupons as possible and in return it saved us a good bit of money. Great customer service tonight. Food was good and hot. Tonight service was good. I would give it a 4. However the 12/23/2018 service would not even deserve a 1 star.*
However on December 23, 2018, Cassie was working and the service was terrible. She refused to take our order and said you have to use the kiosk. I did not know how to use it. I tried with no avail. Finally a fellow customer came and assisted me with the kiosk. Then after a long wait, our to go orders when we arrived home was totally wrong. I reviewed the receipt and was charged for what I had ordered, just not what we had when we got home. I swore that I would not return to McDonald's, and no I did not call back to the store and complain about the wrong food in the bag. I had already had enough of her attitude. However; I did tell some if my friends as well as fellow customers that was entering the restaurant that there was no one that would take the order, that you would be told to do it yourself on the kiosk. Which is not easy to do when you are using deals that are on the McDonald's app page. I have never been talked too with as hateful tone as she used when she was telling me to use the kiosk. I told her that I did not know how to use it and had specials from the app thst I wanted to use. She just looked at me as if your stupid or figure it out for yourself or just leave. (She did not say the last, it just came from her action and attitude.) Was the worst service that I have had anywhere in my entire life. Very bad for McDonald's business. You will lose a lot of customers that way. Kiosk should be an option to whether you use it or not. Just as drive thru or...
