Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Gainesville

$$$$$$ Very Expensive. Today, I decided to go thru a local coffee shop drive-thru in Gainesville, FL. The customer service attendant was very friendly as she took my order for a Med Latte, Plain- That's milk and coffee only. Upon pulling up to the window I handed the attendant my Credit Card and she stated that it was $5.33 w/ Tax. Scooters!!!!! Where do you think we are in Beverly Hills? Seriously, in my opinion that is pure price gauging and you can run your business how you like, but please exclude me as I will not pay that for a coffee with cream. Sorry guys. Your coffee was good, but not $5.33 good for a medium. So I sat back and thought about this purchase. I guess it all boils down to whether I got a bang for my buck when it comes to my morning cup and to be perfectly honest, its was determined by personal preference. I cant fault you for that, but neither do I have to be part of it. Thanks. Good luck...

I made the unfortunate decision to get my daily morning coffee here in lieu of Starbucks or Dunkin. After a week, there was an instance where they were just completely out of regular coffee. Figured it was a fluke, considering the entire location is built upon...coffee. Then the following week it happened again. It's a bit beyond the pale to turn away customers because you don't have the core, basic item you sell. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. EDIT: Owner wanted me to fill out a contact form, but I had already jumped through those hoops with no change in service so I have no intention of doing it again. I didn't even mention the transaction in error they were supposed to void but never did, even after contacting them...

Im convinced that the owner of Scooter's coffee went around town and found the happiest people to work here. The staff at Scooter's coffee are literally the nicest crew in any restaurant/cafe. My boyfriend and I traveled from Australia to visit my family and we stumbled upon Scooters coffee - and made sure to buy a coffee from Scooters every single day we were in town! Not only is it amazing coffee and they have dairy free milk options, the people are super sweet and just bring a smile to your face instantly - especially when they finish taking your order and say "Scoot on up to the window" - I don't know why but every time I heard that, it just...
