Let me start off by saying another Hidden Gem here in Gainesville! It's hard for me to give my first time a 5 ⭐️ but this place definitely deserved it. The atmosphere here was very clean, relaxed, and comfortable. All the workers there were very friendly and spoke to all tables. Our server, Austin, deserves more than 5⭐️'s!! He came up to our table, introduced himself, we told him it's our first time in, and he said, "Take your time, no rush, and let him know if you have any questions." He was very knowledgeable with the menu and helpful in assisting us making our selection. I had the sun-dried Tomatorotellni, and the tomato cream sauce was perfect. When I ordered this, Austin stated that it came with chicken and asked if that's OK. My husband ordered the Big Nick's Pie, and it was so good!! The pizza crust was phenomenal, thin, and crispy with great flavor. Austin was making sure all was good and very observant on our drinks, then he asked if we would like dessert, well when I saw they had my favorite Tiramisu I was all smiles!! This was one of the best I have had. It's not too sweet, just perfect. My only wish was that they served Sangria. 🍷 So with the menu and all they have to offer, we will be back and yes sitting...

I was coming from Valdosta, GA and I was on my way to the regional airport. I needed to eat before I got there so after looking on google for places to eat, I seen this place. All the recent reviews were good so I decided to go ahead. I felt bad because I was there an hour before they closed so I made my dine in really quick. The decor there is AMAZING (I have videos, but google won’t let me add them). I’ve never seen such an aesthetically pleasing place. It’s so cozy and vibrant!! The menu is really easy to look at as well. I had their new chicken sandwich, some mozzarella sticks, and an iced mocha (which I think they put sweet foam on top, that was literally the icing on the cake!!). All were as great as the decor. And finally my server was (of course) amazing. I think her name was Savanna but I’m not 100% sure. She so so sweet and quick too!! One day when I’m in town again and I actually have time to dine in, I’ll...
Read morePossibly the best chicken sandwich in Gainesville!! Seriously. Love the seasoned fries— the beet salad and baked potato are also good. I have had a side Greek salad on two occasions now, and the dressing in particular is delicious. I’m not big on desserts, but the baklava cheesecake is very good. A couple of disappointments: my mother’s hickory burger was overdone (we should have requested pink inside and did not when ordering it to go); also, while the cannoli filling is great, the shell wasn’t crispy at all— I’m assuming it isn’t meant to have the crunch, so just a heads up there.
Nobody’s perfect, but Scuola’s is close. Really glad they opened up a restaurant right here in my neighborhood. Shout out to the owner Bill, who is incredibly kind and wonderful to talk to. He went to great lengths to be sure my takeout order was correct and even gave me a baklava cheesecake on the house. THANK YOU, Bill— it was delicious. Go support this local business! You won’t regret it. I’m going to try an Italian...
