Sept 26- shocker- doors are still broken. +++++++++±+++ Sept 12- Update #3- more roaches!!! This place is becoming dirtier and dirtier by the day! The doors that they promised would be fixed by the 12th were not. And now the little itty bitty baby door that we're forced to use gets stuck now. When I pulled in, there was a strong looking man, trying to get the door open but he couldn't do it. He said he'd been having trouble for a couple weeks now, I entered my code and i couldnt get it open. We went to the office where the dirty manager man who shows no respect, was sitting at the desk clearly lying to customers saying how great the place is, even though it's a filthy disgusting poor excuse for storage... The tall cleaner looking "manager" came to the door and his suggestion was to "push and then pull really hard". The gentleman that was there struggling with the door when I first arrived suggested "maybe when you get the other door fixed, you can have them look at this one too, we shouldn't have to go through this to get to our stuff". The manager. laughed and said he "didn't know about that"and that "they would have to put another work order in". The fake manager literally laughed at customers because we couldn't get the door open and then reiterated his idea of a fix, "just push and then pull really hard"...So if I could give this location a negative 5000I stars I would.

LATE AUG- UPDATED REVIEW- This facility went from a five star facility to a one star facility. My review has been updated for several reasons- The loading doors that allow you to get your belongings in and out of the building have been out of order for months. This forces everybody to cram their belongings in one very small door that has a huge doorstop (hump), that you must push your cart over. At least 50% of the time my stuff falls off the cart. My work bench (over $300) has been damaged, dishes broken and many other things have been broken or damaged. I have also hurt myself trying to get the cart and my belongings into the babe door over the inch high hump. The facility has bugs, and mice from what I have been told from other customers. I have personally seen roaches. BIG ROACHES!! And I saw a moth in my unit last week. Im sure I'll have to trash 1/2 my stuff because I made the mistake of choosing this storage facility. The guy with long very greasy hair who now runs this facility but claims he is only there for a day to "help out" but has been there for well over a month is combative, rude and either very lazy or not bright. He cant answer simple questions. I asked him when the loading doors would be working, he said he "thought a work order had been put in but wasn't sure". I told him that wasn't acceptable he yelled at me and was extremely rude- zero customer service and zero soap in his house because he always looks dirty and disheveled and quite frankly stinks, not just his attitude, his body odor. Because of these things my 5 star review now goes down to a one star review. I truly miss the great customer service I received from Alexis, if the rude dirty guy had been there the day I went to look at the unit I would have went elsewhere. I suggest anyone thinking about renting a unit from this facility runs and runs fast!!! Unless you like non working doors, bugs and a rude, smelly, greasy haired manager who likes to yell at women and claims to know nothing...if so this is the place for you! OLD REVIEW 2 MONTHS AGO-WAS 5 STARS. I highly recommend this storage facility! I receive excellent customer service from Alexis who was more than willing to explain everything with patience, she's very knowledgeable when it comes to the facility, the rules and the units. Her compassion stood out the most as i'm going through a very difficult time and she made it a little easier. Renting Unit - I happened to stop by three weeks before I needed to rent the unit and was prepared to put a deposit down. Unfortunately I was told that they only take reservations inside of 14 days. I had to return within 14 day window to reserve a unit. Perhaps this policy works for them but it didn't work for me.

Moving In - This particular Cubesmart (300 Old Game Preserve) has a very "uneven" issue with the main access door. The entry floor is 1 inch higher than outside floor. This creates a very significant challenge for rolling heavy carts in to the building. My wife could not get heavy carts over the bump. We also had damage as boxes fell off carts as they went over the bump. Cubesmart seem to recognize the problem by providing a few carts with soft all terrain tires which help with the bump but then are much harder to pull on the smooth concrete inside. It is very simple, entry ways into storage building need to be flush. Given this issue which should be easy to fix and they seemed to have ignored I would not recommend 300 Old Game Preserve. Find another unit with a flush floor and...

On the move in date, I was greeted by both Mr. Thien and Ms. Leggins. Mr. Thien had originally responded to my reservation and planned move in date. Ms. Leggins handled my in-processing in a professional, courteous and thorough manner. Candidly, my brain was fried from a long day at work. So it helped tremendously that Ms. Leggins carefully explained the options to me and took the time to evaluate how much space I really needed. I upgraded to a more realistic storage size for my archives. Ms. Leggins explained the paperwork with a balance of comprehensiveness and brevity.

The location itself is pretty accessible for suburban Maryland. It was really easy to acclimate to the mechanics of using the space and porting in belongings. I definitely will continue to use this facility for my storage...
