The sno cones are always delicious and I love all the different flavors they have. The service could be better though. Not a whole lot of friendly, nice attitudes going on. The girl taking the orders didn’t give me any greeting whatsoever. She just stood there with a blank look on her face waiting till I told her my order. Then I was asking about how to redeem the points and she had no idea. But she also didn’t try to find out. In customer service, you never say “I don’t know”. You say “I’m not sure but I can try to find out for you.” Or something along those lines. Aldo, she didn’t smile one time. That’s customer service 101. Smile, even when you don’t feel like it. I like that they have things for the kids to play on because it makes a fun atmosphere. They used to have a couple things more though. Where did the corn hole and tether ball go? Lastly, since this is a fun place to take your kids for a summer treat outing, and kids have to pee every five minutes, they really need to invest in some kind of bathroom. At least get a port-a-potty. The boys can just go in the back and pee in the grass but my daughter doesn’t like having to pop a squat back there. It’s gross. Also, if someone could wipe down the tables often so they’re not so sticky, that’d be great. Or set up a disinfectant wipe dispenser. Overall, we do love coming and getting a delicious sno cone. There’s just some things that...
Read moreThe location isn’t the greatest. The parking lot feels dangerous and off a main road. It’s just not the most comfortable when you’re with kids. I think to make this a safer and better customer service experience, they should take orders and allow you to go sit in their covered area then bring it out to you when it’s done. This way we aren’t standing in the dangerous parking lot in the blazing hot sun for 15 minutes. It gets the line moving way faster and parents feeling more comfortable. I see what they’re attempting to do with their “play area” and I think that’s a plus. Definitely need garbage cans we don’t have to touch the lid to and put on and off, it’s kind of gross. Need the ones that swing open and closed. I liked the huge selection and various extras you can add to your snow cone. It was a tasty product but Retro Snow in the Hendersonville Produce definitely has a better...
Read moreI live down the street thought it was crazy that so many people were lined up for it when they opened. I thought it was simply the new restaurant craze every town has when something new opens. Especially since it was just snow cones. After a while I caved in, walked down and gave it a try. I was surprised. These weren't snow cones. These were bowls of snow flakes, harvested from Mount Olympus, and flavored by the tears of unicorns. Not sad tears, mind you. Tears of joy. Joy that all of us mere mortals could enjoy the bliss that is Pelican's. Pelican's endeavors to bring a myriad of flavors that only Greek Gods and unicorns could produce, to you, the common man. But they forgot my gummy, so they...
