El Tequila — Restaurant in Gallatin

Check your bill! We were there 2 weeks ago. Order margaritas from the list on the last page of the food menu. Even pointed out the margaritas we wanted. When our bill came, the margaritas we thought were $8.99 were actually $12.99. Unbeknownst to us, the drinks are listed on a separate menu which they keep behind the condiments. When brought to the attention of the Manager, he did nothing to make this right. In fact, he made a comment that no one has complained about this. How about you list the correct prices on your menu instead of trying to deceive people or assume people won't review their bill!? All this could have been easily resolved if Manager would have apologized or adjusted the price of the margaritas we ordered. There were 5 in our party and we enjoyed the food and margaritas BUT we did not enjoyed being deceived and taken advantage of. Very poor...

My girlfriend and I went here for the first time last week on a Monday night and it was rather late. The food was fantastic the staff was absolutely wonderful. This restaurant is very authentic. We ate so much food we could hardly even walk out of the restaurant. The portions were very large. Tasty and delicious it’s two things I have to say about it. The prices were fair the drinks were good I will be back.

Ps. My girlfriend and I returned on Friday night. The following Friday night. Around 930 the restaurant was still full. You know you’re in a good Mexican restaurant when you’re the only gringos in the place. They have a tower of margaritas let’s just say that is a hit in itself this restaurant is in my neighborhood I would definitely come here at least once or twice a month from now on. 1st time we went it was excellent! Was a little pricey but food and service was great and we couldn’t wait to go back. Well…. The second and Last time was a totally different experience. Our server was nice but she did not speak or understand English. We had a Margarita and chips and Salsa and Pico and decided to order our food to go. They charged us for the chips and salsa and a to go charge. We ordered the same thing we got the time before, Steak Tacos because they were so good. This time they were terrible, tough and not a good flavor nothing like the ones we got the prior time. We thought we had found our go to Mexican restaurant but I’m sad to say we did not.
