Honestly I don’t know where to start, last year we went and had an amazing time, everything was great. Today on the other was horrible. We came in a group of five, which we weren’t even going to go there until I saw they had live music so we switched restaurants last minute.
We sit down and I was really wanting wings or something savory, until our server mentioned the all you can eat crawfish for $29.99, which she did let us know that she didn’t know for sure if that was the price or not and that she’d have to look and get back with us. I said okay sounds good. Never got back with us on price so we assumed that the original price was correct, so we ordered anyway because we were starving we hadn’t had much all day. My brother and I got the crawfish, everyone else got something different . I’m from Louisiana so I wasn’t expecting amazing crawfish but I haven’t had as much this year as normal so I said what the hell.
They came out and they were the worst crawfish we had ever tried. Which again normally wouldn’t complain about it, especially all you can eat and for that price.
I was just exited to chow down and enjoy the vibe! I had two beers and a water. We were ready to but in our second order of crawfish because it had been 15-20 mins since she had checked on us and we were ready to order another plate.
Which we were not mad at the wait we could see that she was busy. I worked in the service industry for 6 years so I know how it can get. We were just hanging out, she comes back to let us know they were out of crawfish. Again my brother and I were like well, we are starving and we wouldn’t have ordered this if we would have known, because unless you eat a lot it’s not very filling. So they manager comes over and apologizes was like well, since they are normally $39.99 we will bring them down to the price of what you ate. Which I was like wait what do you mean $39.99, that’s a completely different price than what we were told. She said she would lower it to $35.99 the price of 5lbs. I was like okay I understand, my brother didn’t so he asked if we could at least get the price of what we were told, considering we were both still hungry and neither of us had enough money to get anything else. I don’t get paid til Friday, the max I wanted to spend was $45 maybe $50 depending on the tip. I was okay with everything, and we were back to having a good time. I absolutely hate causing any kind of scene at a restaurant because I know what it’s like on the other end. I’m the person who doesn’t even speak up even if the order is wrong.
Then our bills come, mine was $51, and I was like damn the beers here are expensive and I got an order of fries because I was starving so I didn’t look at the bill. So she takes our cards and my brother was like “hey don’t worry, I paid for your fries” and I was like “what are you talking about?”
I said how much was your bill he said $32, I was pissed, she came bath with our cards and my brothers check got both discounts put on his ticket and I got nothing so my crawfish was $39.99, and the server said well he just owes you $10, which pissed me off and by that point I was beyond ready to leave. I still left a tip because I don’t care how bad anything is I will always tip. The more I think about it the more pissed I get.
We both left hungry and I left with my wallet rapped! Because my brother doesn’t have cash so he can’t pay me back!(: so I won’t be getting anything back for...

Write a brief bar and restaurant review for j laws on the boulevard peninsula state that it's a very beachy vibe with the owners who provide a great customer service they're welcoming and friendly. Let people know that the deli sandwiches are fresh just like the ones you pick up at the local grocery store. Let them know that the owner's dog roams around and is extremely friendly as well. Let them know that it gives off a very carefree relaxed vibe. Let them know that the one thing that I did not like was that they let people smoke in there and while I was eating that was not fun to eat during someone smoking. Let them know that it appears customers have ashtrays on the side of the bar and they pick their ashtray up when they come in. Be respectful and courteous about the review

J's Law on the Bolivar Peninsula offers a delightful escape with a true beachy vibe. The owners are incredibly welcoming and friendly, creating a relaxed and carefree atmosphere. It almost feels like you're grabbing a bite with good friends at a beach house.
The food is simple but satisfying. Their deli sandwiches are fresh and delicious, just like what you'd pick up at a local market. One thing to note for those with smoke sensitivities: the bar area is smoker-friendly. While customers use ashtrays considerately, it might be a detail to consider if second-hand smoke is a concern.
Overall, J's Law offers a charmingly relaxed experience with friendly service and good food. Just be aware of the smoking situation if it's a dealbreaker for you.

Write a respectful review for a restaurant called The naughty Beaver Hut in Crystal Beach. Let people know that it's a very chill vibe with good customer service. I ordered the shrimp platter that came with red potatoes and broccoli. Let people know that the broccoli and red potatoes were good just like all of our food but the shrimp blackened was hard and not very tasty. I was surprised because we're right near the ocean. Let people know that at times the service staff we're not wearing gloves well personally touching the fruit trays on the bar and filling them. Make this respectful and courteous.

The Nauti Beaver Hut in Crystal Beach offers a laid-back, chill atmosphere with friendly service. It's a great place to relax and enjoy some beach vibes. I tried the shrimp platter with red potatoes and broccoli. The red potatoes and broccoli were cooked well and delicious, just like the rest of our food. However, the blackened shrimp itself was a bit on the tough side and lacked flavor, which was a surprise considering the proximity to fresh seafood.
One minor detail to note: during our visit, we observed some staff members handling fruit for the bar's fruit trays without wearing gloves. While this might not be a concern for everyone, it's something to be aware of for those who are more sensitive to hygiene practices.
Overall, The Nauti Beaver Hut has a great atmosphere and friendly service. With a few adjustments, especially regarding the shrimp and potentially the food handling practices, it could be an even better spot to enjoy...
Read moreAll I can say, is look at your bill closely and if you have a shellfish allergy DO NOT go here. I called ahead and asked if they fry their food and the shellfish separately and I got a resounding absolutely we fry them separately. Guess what they don’t fry them separately. My daughter could have died, literally. The server said we will give you a salad from the salad bar instead of the French fries that are served with the hamburger. They then charged me $5.00 for the “free substitution”. When looking at our final bill we noticed we had three extra entrees on our bill. Turns out we had the owners actual friend’s food order on our bill. To the tune of $60 bucks. The server spent more time taking care of the friends and their needs then ever checking on us. When delivering us our final bill the server really wanted to just take my card without me looking over the bill and the total. I said I need to take a look at it and she said weirdly stammering “I need to bring these drinks to the friends table (with no drinks in her hand). Sketchy to say the least. We asked for silverware 3x , 4x for a plate for the salad bar, asked for additional tartar sauce never arrived. Ordered 2 orders of fried pickles the server never even put the order in. She admitted she had not. 2 entrees came out 15 minutes before the other entrees after the food runner literally walked around the restaurant with my granddaughters food. Music...
