Surfside Grill — Restaurant in Galveston

I go in and order a Bahn Burger Basket and a funnel cake. The lady at the counter told me to "go around the corner for funnel cakes." Around the corner there was no register or way to order the funnel cake. Gladly, I was not charged for it, but it was still disappointing. The atmosphere was horrid as well with flies everywhere that frequently landed on the food and dirty, sticky tables.

The food took 30 minutes to be done, which would have been fine if they had actually been making food. Since you can see into the kitchen from the pick up window, I could see the 4 workers standing around doing nothing but talking, flipping cups, and standing around for the whole time.

As for the taste, it was no better than a burger and fries made from frozen packs from Costco. I'd even say it's worse than what you can get at Costco.

Safe to say, this was a horrible experience and you're better off buying food from the snack bar...
