AL RAYES Meats & Eats — Restaurant in Garden City

Ruined my Suhoor. Went there for surhoor with 2 friends, and we wanted three sandwiches. Every person who was there after received their food and the workers were talking to them and hangout for an hr. Meanwhile it’s been an he and were the only table without food. I asked a worker about it and he went to the back and I hear them saying they lost the ticket. If they lost the ticket they didn’t notice one table out of 3 without food. After I heard that the employee comes out and says it’s in the oven few minutes. Alr sure whatever, another 20 min pass only one of us got food and if you wanna take a guess, he got the wrong thing. Meanwhile the table next to us there living like kings with free samples and one of the workers handing them items to try. After that we talked with the worker again and said he apologized, but didn’t tell us anything about where are food actually was. We eventually walked out. Never coming...

I recently visited Yara Bakery and was quite disappointed with my experience. The first issue was the service; The staff seemed lost and can’t hear what I’m ordering. I had to repeat my order.

When my order was ready, they only gave me half of my order. The waitress came back giving me Spinach fataeer cold, I told him “can you heat them up please.” He came back and they were cold second time !!!!!!!!! Not at all what I expected from this bakery. I gave them the spinach pies back and told them “they’re not hot” he didn’t care about me or even apologized. Additionally, the cleanliness of the place was questionable. I noticed crumbs and spills on the tables, which didn't create a welcoming atmosphere.

Overall, I left feeling unsatisfied and unlikely to return. There are better options for baked goods...

I am so sad to be the very first 1-star review. But I have to cause the lady at the front desk was helping someone in front of me, he decided to pay in cash so she took the money, cashed him out, and give him the change back, ALL THIS WITHOUT ANY GLOVES. Then she touches my food, folds the zaatar pie, and cuts it bare hands RIGHT AFTER TOUCHING THE MONEY!!!. I understand you might be busy or so but you have to take into consideration...
