Dunkin' — Restaurant in Garden City

3/30/2025 Oh my, what a horrible horrible experience i had at this place this morning. I ordered: a sandwich "meal deal" that comes with hashbrowns and a coffee Two extra orders of hashbrowns 3 2pc bagel bites ....so now when i got home about 10mins away, i noticed that the sandwich cameout completely black burnt. I decided to go back because the sandwich was completely unedible. When i got back there, i opened the sandwich bag up and asked "why would they give someone this?", The person i was greeted with was clearly the drivethru person who yelled to the back for somepatty i think. She looked around the corner and said, "whats the problem?". I again asked the same question and was met with a blank stare and a shoulder shrug. So now, im getting upset and asked again. This time i was asked back "whats wrong with it?"without even the person looking at it.. So now im getting more upset and say "look at it, its completely burnt". The answer i received was "ok, what do you want?"..so now im very upset and I follow up with, "the question im asking you is "why would u guys give me this this way". The answer i recieved was, "oh sorry, what do you want me to do?". So i proceeded to say "Ok, can u please replace this sandwich and the 3 hasbrowns" I wanted all the hashbrowns replaced because they were already cold from having to come back. Shes says "ok" and im like "ok fine, thanks" So now i back up away from the counter and am waiting to have my food remade. While im waiting, a second later i see this same person who makes the food,WITH THE PLASTIC GLOVES ON,proceed to stick her four fingers down the back of the middle of her pants and lift them up because they were falling and then with that dirty hand proceeded to grab fresh croissants out of a basket another employee brough around the corner for her...this immediately grossed me out and i yelled out for them to "nevermind on that food" and "im just going to get a refund". I dont want to eat anything made by someone who put their hands down their pants while wearing their gloves and is preparing food. So now, after all this happened, i get into line to talk to the rude register person who only wants to refund me for the sandwich only and not everything because i rushed out the door and didnt bring back the bagel bites or coffee. I had no intention of getting a refund and only wanted to hurry up and have the burnt or cold food replaced get so i could get back and have breakfast but onstead was kicked out without my food or my money. The staff at this location desperately needs to be trained on proper procedure and customer service cause they clearly dont have it. The person at the register was so rude and get fed up with having to do what needed to be done so quickly that she gave up and gave me my receipt back without a refund and kicked me out of the store, and said to come back tomorrow when the manager was there..WOW!! She also saod she didnt like how rude i was to her and then she had the nerve to "salute me" in a making fun of me way to show how funny she is to the other customers when i was walking out. She also made sure to tell me to make sure and mention her name when i call or come back to talk to the manager...this scares me very much cause is the manager of this place now gonna team up against me too cause they dont know how to be proper employees? ....i will follow up tomorrow 3/31/25 after having to go up there for a third time to try and get this resolved

UPDATE:: 4/4/2025. I contacted corporate and was supposed to receive a response back from someone at that location, an low and behold, noone contacts me back. Its been over 4 days and ive repeatedly emailed for a response back. management is totally part of the problem in this situation and basically this Whole Store needs to be shutdown cause the FRANCHISEE CLEARLY DOESNT CARE. STILL WAITING 4/14/2025...STILL WAITING FOR A RESPONSE BACK..HAVE TRIED CONTACTING BUT AM GETTING IGNORED NOW ....SHAMEFUL EXCUSE...

I’ve come to this place for well over 10 years. One of my favorite places. I work locally so it is convenient, and I love the sugar free iced coffee. Not today. My husband and I can’t inside for a brunch break after shopping. Placed our order at the counter with “ Stephanie” who made zero eye contact, acted very annoyed that we couldn’t decide, pounded out our order and went off. I, we, were VERY CLEAR!! Sour dough breakfast Sammie, snackin bacon, sweet pepper croissant, small black hot coffee, small sugar free iced vanilla with cream and sweet and low. Got our order and sat down. We thought she forgot the iced coffee, so ba k to the counter I went. Also had the croissant Sammie, that without exaggeration was CHARCOAL BLACK ON ALL EDGES. I held it out to show her, and before I could say a word, she said, “ I can’t help it that’s how the machine makes them!” She went on to say she was busy and had no more croissants. I said ok we’ll do it on a bagel. At this point she actually shouted at me

Went there at around 8:30 this evening. My friend ordered a white cream filled donut and a glazed donut. I ordered two Barvarian cream filled (which are powdered sugar covered). When we arrived at the window, the girl said $2.67. I asked her for which order? She did not even understand what I was asking. Finally, I said it 3 more times, which order is $2.67, finally she said yours. I paid her. Then I asked how much does my friend owe, she didn't know at first then finally said $2.67. Then she gave us the bags with our donuts, neither order was correct!! There was no glazed donut, no white cream filled donut in my friend's bag. It had one barvarian cream donut and a plain donut. In my bag she had two two Boston Cream donuts. No one ordered Boston Cream donuts. When we told her, she said we don't have any glazed donuts. I said you should have told us that and asked what we would prefer, not just throw a different one in the bag. I said I did not order Boston cream, I ordered two barvarian. She said we only had one, so I gave you two boston cream instead. When I complained, she sent the manager over, I explained everything to him and he just stood there looking at us, didn't even try to make it right!! I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!! Like most of the comments on this page, they need to close...
