Food is fine - seems as good as any other, which I like. Here's the thing: I once went to this location with a coupon in hand. It was for a free Doritos loco (locos?) taco. The reason I had that coupon is because last time I was there they messed up my order - I don't remember what they did; it wasn't a big deal. I realized before I left and just pulled back through, they fixed it immediately, and gave me a coupon, which I thought was sweet. 5 star experience so far. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes. No problem there. The thing is, on this second order, on a different day, with that coupon in hand; I ordered my food along with the free taco.
They straight up left out 2 items from my order. For a place that says, "here's your X items in the bag" that is just straight up unacceptable. I mean.. It's not acceptable anywhere, but considering they started doing that, I don't know, maybe last year; which means they have had problems with missing items on a large enough scale that they started doing this.. they need to do Something more to keep this from being a regular occurrence. They put creamy jalapeño on my kid's cheese quesadilla (the person taking my order read back to me the entire order and had everything right). I didn't have a receipt, but I was charged the correct amount for everything I ordered per my card's history, so it's not like the 2 items were just left off of the order so the person making the food didn't get those items or something.
I normally wouldn't leave a review over this. Like I said, last time was no big deal, but this time I didn't check my order right away and was a few miles down the road before we realized the mistake, and there wasn't anything in the bag that wasn't spicy (for the little one) since the 2 items left out were both non-spicy, and the quesadilla was now spicy as well, so I had to go back (or I guess I could have gone somewhere else and paid for more food...). They fixed everything, which was nice, but it was 5 miles and 15 minutes wasted... and.. the thing that really made me write this review, was that this was all on an order that included a free taco... a free taco that I had a coupon for, because the most recent time before this experience, they messed up my order.
In short.. They messed up my order. Gave me a coupon to make up for it, and the very next time I went back, knowing that I had a coupon because they messed up my order the last time... they messed up my order.
4 stars because I still love the food/prices, etc. and apparently 4 stars is actually an upvote since the current average is 3.5, but anyway.. just something that needs fixed. It's not huge as an isolated incident, but it is something that needs addressed if it's going to happen...
Read moreI was informed by a Taco Bell Night employee working the window (Probably 45 years old, dark brown almost black hair, Caucasian. People need to know) that Door Dash is the worst thing to happen to society since the pandemic. My response as I was accepting my order that I was there for was "Oh wow!" I couldn't believe she legit told me that! After I said oh wow she immediately said "it made everybody lazy" and "nobody has jobs." There's no way anybody can explain the logic behind these statements because there is none. I was nice to her.. I just said Oh wow then I said "it did the opposite for me! It saved my life!" She didn't really wanna hear that because she was dedicated to her emotional opinion. She just said Alright in a dismissive tone and i'm sure she thought she used the force as I drove off as she dismissed me with her tone. I couldn't sit there any longer. I can't believe she legit thinks that! There's so many holes in what she said! For 1 I'm working in Door dash as she was saying it so there's 1 person with a job! I'm sure the people ordering door dash have a job! They don't get free money to just spend on door dash all day! They have a job as well! If they wanna spend money on food so be it. It doesn't matter if they show up to the window or I show up to the window. There's isn't any less or more work that needs to be done or extra laziness going on. Smh. After the fact because I was still dashing for a couple hours... I really thought about it. I mean yeah Door Dash is horrible.. I can't believe all the old people I deliver groceries too! Shame on me for participating and not getting a job that serves people run down crud! Talk about the worst thing for society.. how ironic. ALL AT RANDOM! I DIDN'T ASK ANY QUESTIONS OR SAY ANYTHING SHE TOOK IT UPON HER SELF TO COME AT...
Read moreI am only giving this review because I believe it is necessary. It was about 10:30 at night, we pulled up to the drive-through after seeing a commercial for a free Loco‘s taco. I was the only car in line through the entire time I was there and I was there for about five minutes definitely less than 10. I asked first if the deal was per purchase or per person, he told me per person ( there was two of us in the car) so I asked for two of them and some other items. When I looked at the screen the order was not correct, so I politely asked more questions, this clearly seemed to annoy the cashier as his tone of voice turned really rude as I clarified my order. When I pulled up to the window there was no friendliness, he just took my card and shut the window, made sarcastic and rude banter about me with the other worker that I could hear through the window, and gave me my card back. I told him to have a good night and he said goodnight back in a not nice tone. I could understand if I was holding up the line or if my order was super complicated (I only had four items total) or if I was being rude. I understand that everyone has bad days or maybe someone right before me had upset them but I feel like this customer service was completely unnecessary, I also work in customer service and understand that consumers can be annoying or rude but nothing that I did or said warranted the rude behavior that I received. especially during times like these, maybe it would be good to hire workers that are happy to have a job during this time when people are willing to give the little money that they have to justify restaurants being open right now. Up side the food was good and I hope to return for a...
