We attended the dueling pianos for the 2nd time. These tickets are purchased in advance. I need to warn this will not be a good review. Please note that the servers and bar tenders all did their jobs very VERY well. This is not about either the wait or bar staff. This is about the owner or bar manager creating a watered-down service of drink that will ultimately hurt the staffs income.
I ordered a Vodka Cran to start because the cocktails were complicated. Wanting to keep things simple I let the server know that well was fine. The subsequent drink (my first) tasted neither of Vodka nor Cranberry this was a pink ice water. I tasted several other beverages to confirm. Each drink that was on the $8 -$12 menu tasted of mostly water. The margaritas had a slight sour flavor. I ordered a JACK & Coke without finishing the first icewater drink, hoping that it would at least taste of Jack & cola. I tasted a hint of Jack but no cola. The usual practice for bars is to over sweeten drinks so individuals can't taste the small amount of alcohol OR water down the add-ins so that the alcohol is more prevalent. This was neither. Juice and soda (especially Cranberry or orange) are ok to water down, but when you've got it diluted this much, I was unwilling to pay the $8 - $10 PER drink.
My additional criticism has to do with A.D.A. compliance. We arrived early enough that only 4 tables were occupied. We were STILL unable to acquire a non-bar-height table because EVERY SINGLE REGULAR TABLE had a reserved plaque. The hostess of our group also stayed that attempts to reach the bar to reserve an appropriate table were unsuccessful. No answer. If you have restrictions, please consider other venues as I was forced to leave early due to the unavailability of accommodations. We were also treated as if our requests for specific heights of tables was out of the norm and inconvenient to the people taking tickets at the door. Humans with disabilities are not high maintenance or prissy, they are in pain and made a great effort to join the festivities.
Again, the wait staff and the bar staff were kind, and I appreciated all they did for our party. My apologies for the terrible picture, it was dark. The color of the drink is consistent with...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Heritage Social, and I can confidently say it was a 5-star experience from start to finish. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The blend of modern amenities with a touch of traditional charm creates an ambiance that is both sophisticated and cozy.
The staff at Heritage Social were incredibly welcoming and attentive. They made me feel right at home, ensuring I had everything I needed throughout my visit. It's clear that they take great pride in providing exceptional service, and it truly enhances the overall experience.
One of the highlights of my visit was exploring the variety of events they offer. The events calendar is filled with diverse activities, catering to a wide range of interests. I attended a live music night, and the talent was impressive. The energy in the room was electric, and it was a fantastic way to spend an evening.
The food and drinks at Heritage Social are top-notch. The menu offers a delightful array of options, all beautifully presented and delicious. I particularly enjoyed their signature cocktails, which were crafted with care and creativity. The culinary experience alone is worth a visit.
I also had the chance to explore their beautifully curated spaces. Each area is thoughtfully designed, providing the perfect setting for socializing, relaxing, or participating in one of their many events. The attention to detail is evident in every corner, making it a pleasure to simply be there.
What stood out most to me was the sense of community. Heritage Social isn't just a place to go; it's a place to belong. I met some wonderful people and had engaging conversations that made my visit even more memorable. The members and guests alike are friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive vibe of the club.
Overall, my experience at Heritage Social was outstanding. The combination of excellent service, fantastic events, delicious food and drinks, and a strong sense of community makes it a truly special place. I can't wait to return and experience more of what they have to offer. Highly...
Read moreThis place was an absolute dive when it was Ironwood. The food and drinks were mediocre, the atmosphere was dark and offbeat. But every city needs a good dive bar and Ironwood fit the bill for a fun, inexpensive haunt. We came here almost every week.
Since rebranding to Heritage Social Club, everything has stayed essentially the same except for the prices. They put a trendy name on it, printed new menus, and started charging gastropub prices for the same mediocre food and drinks served at sticky tables with cheap uncomfortable chairs.
The Boise food scene is overflowing with awesome gastropubs that serve truly excellent food at these prices. There are also plenty of unpretentious dive bars in the valley worth visiting. This place is the worst of both worlds. I recommend spending your money literally anywhere else.
(Also, the last time I was here one of the managers left their cellphone open on the bar in full view of everyone with an ongoing text conversation complaining about an employee and talking about firing them? I don’t know who is running this place, but that's not...
