This plaza for parking is kinda weird and we missed the turn then had to double back. It was fairly busy. Prices were ok. This place is known for the clay jar chicken. The method used to cook the chicken. We did a half chicken with the crispy burnt rice. They have pandan sticky rice and chicken rice as well. I asked and it's yellow rice, that's all I got. Assuming it's made with chicken broth. Chicken wasn't dry, skin was good in flavor. The sauces could be better. I loved the daikon. I ate the whole bowl. The pork rinds (very little) on the rice was a nice addition. Chicken was good but with better sauces I would come back for it. I was hoping for the 1.99 sauce with the chicken or something with more distinct flavor. It literally was soy sauce with garlic floating and sweet and sour you can get in the jar. Similar to lumpia sauce. I did see some other interesting dishes I might come try. I would eat here again if someone wanted to go but I don't think...
Read moreThe BEST chicken Gà nướng lu in town! The chicken is very moist which was seasoned with lemongrass and all secret sauces that made it so good to use your fingers and dig in. We ate the chicken with sticky rice. Oh my god, this is the BEST XÔI I 've had in the long time. It has the hince of coconut and sweet after tast. The only problem is so little of sticky rice. That's we have to order to extras. We also ordered the yellow rice. It was cooked with the chicken stock and has right amount of seasoning.
Drink: we had cafe muối which is a bomb for a coffee holic like me. And the owner offered us a mango slushy which also very refreshing.
This restaurant is having soft opening now but they gave us all the best they can offer. The service is on point, very friendly and has family business vibe.
Will definitely come back to try their Phở...
Read moreThis restaurant is absolutely delicious with Ga Nuong Lu, first time trying out this restaurant from an invite of a friend. But I will definitely coming back for sure.
The food is outstanding with com chay and xoi la dua combine with Ga Nuong Lu, they have the sauces for the ga and the daikon and raddish + veggies to wrap with.
The whole chicken was placed nicely on the traditional Vietnamese plate conpared to the half chicken on a normal plate.
The price with $38 without tax comes with veggies, raddish, a lot of sauces,… I think it is good to try out and see how you like it. But for me, all of us in the group would order for more. Thank you!
p/s: the restroom needs to be clean, it is not clean and the toilet papers are all over the floor. The smell is heavy, lucky they cover with the...
