Looking for a new place to catch up with friends, enjoy a unique taste of ice cream and drinks...come out to KuteKook in Garden Grove.
I just learned that this owner started selling his homemade ice cream at home during Covid. A lot of people has done this where they market it in the FB group to help with what was going on. Some even made it big where they opened their own shop/restaurant and this is exactly what happened with this owner. I am so happy for his accomplishment. I was able to talk with a family member and the way they talk about their drink and telling me how to drink it shows how much they care and how much work they put into it all. Keep on thriving and I hope everything goes well.
Now lets talk about their new shop... Such a cute spot, you'll forget you spent hours there talking and eating up all their ice cream.
What makes this ice cream different from the others? well... they combined Asian and Western traditional recipes. They use real fruits which they call raw material.
You can also get these ice cream in a container togo and freeze it at home to save for later.
Go and check out their flavors • Durian | I didn't get to try this but @aliciaeatsalot said it was really good. • Strawberry | I don't ever get anything strawberry but if you're strawberry lover this is for you. • Pandan Avocado | my daughter ate this all up • CoCo Ube | I'm a Ube lover so I definitely had to get this • Coconut | I should have gotten this for my mom. Don't forget to pair it up with their drinks what I drank • Blueberry Green Tea | Blueberry for the WIN! • Egg Cream Coffee | this is such a new thing for me. Now I have to try it everywhere i see it on the menu. I definitely enjoy it and this place does it well • Peach Hibiscus Black Tea | My favorite overall. I always get peach black tea everywhere. Not saying every place is good (sadly) but I would go back here ordering it for sure! • Genmaicha Lotus Seed Macchiato | this is beyond new to me. Never tried lotus seed. Read moreI heard that this spot had durian ice cream and a bunch of other unique flavored ice creams so I was pretty sold on visiting here one day. I finally made the decision to visit when I started craving for some durian ice cream and remembered that this spot was local to me and it had pretty good ratings. They have unique ice cream flavors such as pandan avocado, ube coconut and of course the durian and lychee ice cream that I ended up getting. I love that the ice creams have already been individually packaged and that it comes with spoons. You just have to take off the piece of paper inside the lid and there it is. They also have your typical fruit teas, coffee and of course some specialty drinks. I saw that they use organic ingredients and fresh fruits so I’ll have to try out the fruit teas the next time! I’m definitely pleased with my visit here and will be back to try more drinks and ice cream.
|| L O C A T I O N / P A R K I N G || -Cross Streets are Garden Grove Blvd. and Magnolia Ave. -Located in the same plaza as Taira Sushi & Sake, Pan Korean Shabu & BBQ and more! (not the H Mart plaza but the one next to it) -Plenty of parking available
|| D E S S E R T S / D R I N K S || Matcha Coco Machiatto - They use ceremonial grade matcha here and the quality really reflects in the drink! Both the matcha and coconut milk are pretty strong and it paired well with the slight salty cream on top. Definitely recommend it if you're a matcha lover!
Purple Rice Yogurt w/ Crystal Boba - I forgot to adjust the sweetness of this drink but surprisingly and luckily, the drink came out just right! I love the addition of the crystal boba which is by the way, is low calorie because it’s made out of agar. You can enjoy a decadent dessert without having to worry about the cals! 🙂 I’m so happy that I can get a drink like this without having to drive to 626 area.
Durian Ice Cream - I knew I had to get this when I found out they had this flavor. Not advised for non durian lovers or people that are wanting to try out durian because the flavor is quite strong. It’s super creamy as well.
Lychee Ice Cream - Another uncommon flavor that you don’t see at your typical ice cream shop. This was creamy and had a strong...
