Blaze Pizza — Restaurant in Garden Grove

I like to keep my blood sugar balanced so I ordered a keto crust but they gave me a regular, carb-heavy crust. I didn't realize it at first and thought maybe there was a recipe change but it was in fact the wrong one. My sugar had a massive, dangerous and long-lasting spike. I didn't eat another slice. They are lucky my body could eventually handle the spike and I wasn't a type 1 or uncontrolled person with diabetes where sugar spikes can be life threatening. It makes me cringe to think I trusted the crust was keto but it wasn't.. imagine if I hadn't checked my sugar and eaten the whole thing.

Since it was a takeout order around closing time, I called multiple times over the next few days and even left a written message to give them a chance to resolve the issue. I was even willing to bring in the rest of the pizza (shown in photos with and without toppings so you can see how pale and fluffy it is compared to the darker, flatter keto crust) despite the inconvenience. In the end, I was never given a refund or replacement so I wasted over $17 on a small pizza I couldn't even eat. I'm only half surprised since they have quite a few bad reviews on here and yelp for their horrible service.

I don't have to say how unethical, cold and wrong it is to make a customer waste time trying to correct your mistake. It says alot about this location and how little they value customers. Thankfully there's a lot of competition and options nearby (including other Blaze locations) to...

February 9, 2021 - Very Disappointing Visit - They Were Out of Garlic Pesto Sauce & Additionally, Apparently They No Longer Offer Salami Anymore For The Pizzas. This Is Disappointing As Well.

Service was rude, pushy & hurrying us through the line. When I asked for manager's phone number, they said they did not have a phone number for management. When we got home we found the crust was burnt and they did not cut the pizzas. I was really expecting better.

Feb 15, 2020 (nine months later). I thought I Would Give Them Another Shot - What A Mistake! Management Here Does Not Seam To Care! ! ! Very, Very, Very Rude Server! ! ! The Attitude This Young Girl Had Was Completely Unacceptable! ! ! I would Have Just Left But The Pizza Was For Someone Else! You Can Be SURE I Will Not Be Back! I ordered over the app and just came for pick up. They're packed on Sunday evening, and my order was couple mins per set. They're packed messed up one of the pizza ordered, but they asked if I don't mind to wait for them to make another one, but it wasn't a big deal since it just missing the pineapples - I just told them to put the fresh one la on plus some basil. Also they don't have the brownie, so I got the cookie instead. The staff are young but nice. The place is clean and welled layout and simple decor. There are plenty of seatings inside and it's bridge since ceilings to floor glass window. They also have small patio seating outside too. The pizza is good with all the fresh ingredients and fires (gas) oven baked so it's yummy. I got 2 pizzas with 2 topping each w/ 2 drinks and a cookie with top for $28. ...
