Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Garden Grove

Horrible! I had driven by last week and noticed a new Chipotle. "Yea!" I thought. So today when I wanted to not cook, I checked online to confirm this Chipotle's hours, and planned my trip accordingly--to stop for a great burrito bowl, then the market that is on the way home from there, and then home to eat. On arriving at Chipotle, though, I noticed people in front and a sign in the door. I walked up to check it out, when an employee stepped to explain to a man also there that "no, we are not open yet. We open the 26th." Thinking to be helpful, I explained to him that Google showed the store as open. I expected his thanks and an expressed plan to correct the misinformation and replace it with the correct info-the opening on the 26th. But instead, he explained that yes, they knew that. It is up there on purpose!! So two strikes, and I am stricter than baseball. I will never spend a penny at this place. What horrible customer service--even before opening--and terrible marketing. And the complete lack of remorse or apology for inconveniencing people with this false marketing. Is there less...

Last night I was there and it was almost closing time, I noticed a girl grabbing her hair over and over with her gloved hand. I stayed looking to see if she would change her gloves but no she continued to weight food with the dirty gloves on. This was gross to see and I do not know if she was going to discard the food or if they donate, but regardless this is a no no. Specially when you’re in front of costumers and are working on the line. I was ordering a kids meal with two sides of white rice and wanted extra corn. The guy who was preparing my food was nice but the same girl as soon as I mentioned the extra corn said”you better charge her extra for that!” I was like wow besides not handling food properly her customer service was awful. I was not talking to her and if I wanted something extra I am aware there is a charge for it. I do not know her name or what position she has but I would never go back to this particular chipotle. Really depends on who is working the line. Sometimes I get that hero that makes my plate feel heavy and other times I get that stingy kid 🤣. I can ALWAYS rely on getting my food in less than 5 min. From ALL the times I have been there, I have had some of the quickest service ever! Tables are pretty clean, don't like that metal finish though, but it is okay. Food is fine, but I would like to see their stuff restock faster. Like if I as for fajitas, I am fine with you giving me what is left, but I want a full serving so please give me some from the new batch, not just give me the scraps and moving on.
