This place is absolutely lovely inside. Soft music plays in the background, people are having quiet conversations, and some are working on their laptops. It feels peaceful, cozy, and perfect for a calm break.
I ordered the Strawberry Mango Jasmine Tea, and honestly, I didn’t expect it to be that good. It was insanely delicious - fruity, floral, and super refreshing. Definitely a must-try.
I also had one of their sweet pastries - a round one with pistachio cream. Just a heads-up: it’s dangerously rich. The pistachio filling is thick, flavorful, and very satisfying... maybe too satisfying. I somehow managed to overeat it in just a few bites, so be careful with that.

Read moreThis 4/5 review is strictly for the latte we had on 7/19/2025. Our group of three all ordered the iced tiramisu einspänner ($6.25 before tax), made with simple syrup, tiramisu foam, and cocoa powder. We stopped in after a visit to Loopy Loop next door, following a strong recommendation from a friend.
This location was packed before we arrived, while we were there, and still full when we left. If you’re short on time, my friend suggests heading to their Westminster location instead, which sees less traffic.
The latte was a pleasant surprise. It grew on us with each sip and left us wanting more. We’re all fans of strong iced Vietnamese drip coffee with a 2:1 condensed milk ratio, so for this to impress us says a lot. It was incredibly smooth and well balanced, a standout!
For context, my go-to coffee orders are either strong Vietnamese iced coffee mentioned above or Starbucks’ iced brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso. I would gladly add Ced’s tiramisu einspänner to that list, especially if they ever expand into the PDX area. If they’re still around next time I’m in town, I plan to try the iced muscovado einspänner (made with Akkise’s muscovado brown sugar syrup, cream foam, hiscoll, and cinnamon) since brown sugar syrups tend to be my preference.
Now, the downside: No toilet seat covers at such a high-traffic location gives me pause. Worse, the cramped hallway before the restroom is overloaded with stacked boxes on both the shelf and the floor. It’s hard to walk through and seems like a clear fire code violation. I hope management takes this seriously before someone gets...
Read moreAs many know this place has gone somewhat viral... which either promises greatness or disappointment. Truthfully I was quite skeptical, but after seeing so much spotlight on this cafe over the years put it on my list of places to go. Finally the moment arrived, and I swung by before a round of karaoke to try their matcha (I don't drink coffee, sorry!) and one of their donuts. It was a Friday late afternoon, but the tables were mostly occupied by friends catching up. Cozy decor, and fits about 6 groups? You could do work there though personally its slightly too lively for me to concentrate.
Ordered a strawberry matcha and a creme brulee donut. Cashier was really nice. Matcha came out surprisingly fast, in ~ a minute or two! The strawberry matcha was balanced, forward matcha flavor but the strawberry sweet and present enough to rein in the bitterness. A bit pricey, but tasty! The donut was vanilla custard filled with a caramelized sugar top. Custard was smooth and just the right level of sweetness. Vanilla bean flavor shone through. Sugar top was a great textural foil and rounded out the sweetness of the donut. Dough was nice and light without being greasy.
Have absolutely no complaints or points of improvement, to my shock. Absolutely deserve the praise they've gotten so far, and am happy to recommend to...
