Bò no Nabe — Restaurant in Garden Grove

If hot pot is your love language, Bo Na Nobe delivers. We started with two broths so everyone could choose their heat — the spicy option had a deep, numbing kick while the clear broth was savory and balanced. The spread of proteins is generous: thinly sliced beef that cooks in 10–15 seconds, plump shrimp and squid that tasted very fresh, and house combo platters that make it easy to share. Vegetables, mushrooms, and handmade-style noodles were all bright and clean — nothing soggy, everything for dunking and slurping. The dipping-sauce bar is a highlight: tons of mix-ins (sesame, garlic, scallion, chili oil, soy) so you can build a totally custom sauce for each bite. Staff were helpful about cook times and kept refills coming, which makes the whole DIY experience painless. Bo No Nabe is hands down one of my new favorite spots in Garden Grove! The collagen hotpot broth is absolutely delicious, rich, and comforting. I went for the Combo C AYCE with wagyu and it did not disappoint — unlike other places where wagyu can be overly fatty and unappetizing, their wagyu was perfectly balanced, tender, and full of flavor. Definitely worth it, especially since their AYCE runs from 11 AM – 1 AM which makes it super convenient.

Another hidden gem here is their bun bo hue, but you have to come in the morning for it. It’s honestly one of the best I’ve had — so flavorful and authentic, I’d come back just for that alone.

The setting of the restaurant was so nice and clean for pictures, especially in the front which I have a picture of. It’s your classic shabu shabu / hotspot place and it’s also in a nice area as well. The service was SO GOOD, the people there are so sweet and nice and that is reflected in the way they keep the place spotless and aesthetic. There’s a sweet man that works there who had such amazing service; he kept volunteering himself to take photos for my group and it was so sweet. The restrooms were super nice, and they even sell labubus! I loved this place & I will be going back...
