Hi Tracy Q Nguyen.
First of all, I apologize if the comment I left on Yelp upset you, especially when you are pregnant. I didn’t mean for you to take it that way, and have to post my name and also screenshot my comment on YELP here on your fb instead of replying directly to my yelp review, or at least unblock me so I can read what you wrote about me.
And I didn’t even know any of this until my friend showed me what you wrote about me on your personal fb.
I personally don’t know you and have nothing against you. When a mutual friend posted about the Matcha opening in Garden Grove, I myself love Matcha, so I followed and added you as a friend so I can come and support your business if I’m in OC. That was the only reason I added you on fb, nothing besides supporting small businesses and women who can follow their dream.
Fast forward to the day I visited your store, I was in OC, my husband and I took our newborn out for the first time, I was very hot as I remember, so we decided for me to order first, and my husband will take our newborn ( 2 months old) in after he parked so we can have a day out. I came inside, you weren’t happy about your employee and you said to the girl with a very loud voice “ lần sau con ko biết thi hỏi, đừng có làm vậy “ I didn’t know what it was about, but I was kinda thrown off by the way you treated your employee.
Next I ordered, and it wasn’t me who took forever, it was your employee. She didn’t know how to answer my question. I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant and also my newborn had eczema and so I’m on a strict diet. I asked her about all the ingredients, and she couldn’t even tell me, and I was still patiently waiting for her to inform me of all the new items you had on your menu. ( And also I paid .50cents for my cheese foam, there was a video, you should of watch it again)
After I ordered, you told the girl “ nói khách là hết .... (Something I ordered, I couldn’t remember..) and you said it loud enough for me to hear. That was very unprofessional if you are the owner (as you claimed yourself). You could have nicely told me because there was only one other customer in the store. Instead, you raised your voice to tell your worker to tell me, when I was in front of your face. After I was done, my mind was like no way you are the owner. Owners don’t treat customers like this, and I don’t think I was mean to you in the store at all, that’s why I wrote in my yelp review that I didn’t know if you were even the owner.
In my yelp review I said I will be back even with my unpleasant experience, because it was a grand opening and so sometimes things aren’t perfect. But after I read what you falsely wrote about me, I will update my review and I won’t be coming back, because how can you say I’m not a human being but on another hand, you write lies about me on your personal fb acct and also laugh at your friends comments mocking my English. I’m not perfect, and I might be critical when come to food, but you took this another step further by attacking me and spreading lies.
Please don’t write them a bad review other wise the owner will post and released your info on her personal fb and...
Read moreCraving for matcha drinks and found this place around, and i remembered i like the one in rowland height location.
-First impression walking in, see an employee look up and making drinks but did not say any words. So i just standing in the front of register. Its fine to let me wait but at least a greeting when customer walk in or just say hi ill be there. But good thing she doesnt take that long.
ordered the matcha latte float, price is $8.99 and if you pay with card or apple pay they charge additional .50cent and the total is $9.49 . Price is pretty expensive fot the quantity. It came out pretty fast, and looks beautiful. Below i attached the picture.
Now the taste was pretty weak matcha not as strong as i remembered from the one in rowland height. Also i tried to poke the straw into the cups it didnt get thru at all. I was like huh, and kept poking it but it cant get to the bottom. When the matcha float its gone, i can see a full cup of ice only. I also attached the picture. There no latte at all. So sad. Just the matcha ice cream on the top. And when i tried to drink it , it taste just water. I dont know if the enployee forgot to put the drink or it just how it is here. Super dissapointed. Sadly to say i wont come to this location again. But i will go to the one in rowland...
Read moreHighly recommend the hojicha ice latte float & matcha float! (They’re the number 32 & 26. I forgot what the difference was with 26 and 35.
With the floats, you get to try both the soft serve and the latte at once! Ask for less ice ;) Mochi were good combination too, the red beans a bit too sweat for me.
Or order the matcha and hojicha flavors by themselves on a cone! (Very crispy, not soggy!) It’s sooo delicious!!
Ps. If you like a really strong bitter matcha, try the “Meccha” at cerritos area! This Maiko place has its own taste though!
Service: The cashier girl was so nice, she knew I was new here and gave quick small recommendations! Thank you!
Tables: There’s a small wooden bench and another small table with three chairs outside. Also one or two tables inside.
Payment: The girl was also very nice to advise us to add an ‘add-on’ because we were few cents away from $15. And if you’re paying with card for under that amount, they charge you...
