Located on the corner of Newland and Westminster. Even has a drive-thru and walk up window. The double glass door is locked and indoor seating is closed due to the pandemic.
Drive-thru line was long so we parked to order at the walk up window. The menu is taped to the window.
We got four different banh mi’s. Dac biet (The Classic) $4.99 Xiu Mai (Meatball) $4.39 Thit Nguoi (pork belly) $4.39 Heo quay (crispy skin pork) $6.49
It’s on a baguette and I prefer French bread over baguette because it tends to get hard. Well, no need to worry because their baguette is very soft with a slight crunch. It’s also a 12inch baguette where you get the two ends not like a middle piece of the yard long baguette. I could only eat half because it’s massive.
The fillings inside are very generous with meat to veggies ratio. The price is average for the quality. The sauce is different than traditional banh mi. It’s not the Mayo but like a creamier texture mixed with the pate and I taste a bit of soy sauce. Very good.
The crispy skin pork is super crispy and had a lot of meat pieces. The xiu mai was no a typical round meat ball but like in a shape of a hot dog. It’s not saucey like how I prefer it but it had a lot of bold flavor.
I love that each banh mi is carefully wrapped and labeled with a sticker.
Overall, I would return here for future banh mi craving. They also serve spring rolls, egg rolls, drinks, fried rice, noodles...

Warning: drive thru isn’t always faster than ordering at the window. We got there around noon so it was the lunch rush. It took a good half hour. I literally saw ppl walk up to the window after we were already in the drive thru and leave before we got our order. The nice staff did apologize and I get it.
Food: #12 all day babyyyy! Don’t get it confused with Grilled Pork or Pork Belly. You want the Crispy Pork!! Seriously. The all-star MVP item here. I’ve not tried other banh mi’s here cuz this one is just that amazing.
Drinks: I’ve tried the Signature Milk tea with boba and I was pleasantly surprised! Milk tea was good and not too bitter. Sweetness was good level without any adjustments and the boba was super chewy!
Parking: A thing of nightmares. If you enter on the right side, where you are supposed to enter for the drive thru line, and you park- you might notice that the drive thru lines totally blocks your chance of getting out. Your best bet is to park on the right side cuz there’s more spaces and it’s less tight to maneuver in and out of your parking spot. It gets quite hectic. When leaving the drive thru line, you face the main street and you’ve gotta hustle to go. Cars go fast so you always hear screeching of ppl leaving the parking lot. It’s easier to leave try the back entrance but it’s also a tight squeeze for 2...
Read moreTerrible. To start, I ordered from Uber Eats. Pictures are included cuz this order was THAT disappointing. I ordered 3 sandwiches, spent over 30.00. Requested no mayo and veggies on the side for 2 of the 3 sandwiches.
All 3 sandwiches arrived with mayo, so I couldn't eat any. Best of all, the 2 with veggies on the side that I was trying to save for my family when they got home from work, had no veggies to be found. Gave the sandwiches to my cousin who loves and eats anything. He said they were terrible, little flavor and just plain bad.
I did call the restaurant to see if there was anything they could do. The first person I got on the phone flat out just said, "I'm sorry, is there anything else I can do for you?" Umm, that's what I was asking you... then she proceeds to tell me she's only worked there a month, so she doesn't know what to do. I suggested she give the call to her manager, she gave it to "someone who worked here longer than me." He pretty much told me that the next time I order, he can give me something extra. Umm... what in the world makes you think I'd order from you again??
Do yourself a favor, go to the 1000 other better sandwich places...
