I've gone past before and I'm really glad I went in today. I got a dozen free-range eggs for less than $6, The mint is in really good shape, nice and fresh and I got some chili oil and some snacks that I've never tried before. Also they have a whole section of vegetarian frozen food items so I got some big old frozen buns (what I think of as bao) that are vegetarian. I also got a giant tea strainer which I was totally in need of and they had even bigger ones which is really great if you're using herbs to make a sauce or a soup and you don't want chunks of the herbs floating around in there later. They had like two aisles full of dining and cooking utensils that are really cool. Got some tiny maybe tea glasses that to me are perfect little shot glasses a few tiny saucers which I use when cooking when measuring out tablespoons or teaspoons of ingredients that maybe need to be ground beforehand or chopped beforehand and then measured. And then I got a couple of those flat bottom soup spoons that you use in restaurants and each of those little dishes was under a dollar or just over a dollar( the tea strainer was a couple of bucks). I also picked up some chili oil which I'm planning to actually put on kettle corn. So if you haven't been in here I recommend it. There were other items I've never seen or tried before so it probably won't be my last visit. Oh I forgot they also have the Strawberry Oreos...
Read moreI used to come to this Market for grocery shopping long time ago. Today I came in to check what they have in the store for specials. The name of store also had changed must be the new ownership. The isles of dried or fresh foods were displayed as same as other the super Markets around the little Saigon. Their prices were cheaper compared to the Other Markets. I bought a 50 lbs of 2019 new crops rice for $44.99. This three ladies rice was very popular with Vietnamese community because of name brand , and how delicious it was. I also was a fan of this brand. I also checked out the other profess well such as fishes, meats and other seafoods in their store. They looked so fresh and the prices were cheaper. Store was organized and bright, a cashier lady was so nice and helpful to me . She kept giving the advices and tips what to buy in the store which were on sale. It was very nice of her. I would come Bach to shop later whenever I am in the...
Read moreNo customer service ! Rude cashiers who bark at you in Vietnamese , don't greet you or say thank you. The last time I was there, the cashier barked something at me and grabbed my hand and slammed it on the counter. Apparently she didn't want nickels and dimes but needed pennies instead. Once the change was scattered on the counter she picked out the pennies and told me to pick up the rest. I will never shop there again ! Maybe she should learn how to speak English so people can understand what she wants as well as some...
