This is the restaurant at the corner of Brookhurst and Hazard. I mentioned this because there is some confusion and Google. When I called the number for the bolsa store I got this store instead. With the owner answering the phone. Anyway, I ordered the beef rib pho large it is $24 now - and totally worth every penny. Why ?because of the meat. The beef rib, the slices and cubes of beef were just so incredibly soft and tender. I have not actually eaten anything quite like this before..According to the owner, Tom, it is American wagyu - meaning that the beef comes from Japanese cattle but raised in Austin ,Texas. As far as atmosphere - Tom the owner is the atmosphere! Next time I go I'm going to order the beef rib where he torches it at your table . As far as noodles if you get traditional or thin. Honestly I really cannot tell much of a difference. Very similar to other restaurant in the area. the broth was very good though I did put in quite a bit of basil leaves and mixed in a bit of the hoisin sauce. Found this on YouTube
Something to know is that the restaurant is closed on Wednesday in July 2024 normally open till 9:00 p.m. except Saturday he opens till 10:00 p.m.

Read moreThis place is absolutely fire! As an LA native I have had pho from the valley and China-Town LA but this place is on a whole other dimension. My first time here was with my girlfriend and we ordered their eggrolls which is a great appetizer and their house special which is number 12 on their menu and it is to die for. The beef bone, meatballs, wagyu beef and beef cubes are just unbelievably tender and delicious. Today was my second experience but this time with my mother, auntie and my girlfriend. We ordered the egg rolls for our appetizer and four of the house specials. Be warned these bowls have offer quite an enormous amount of food but being a big fella myself I handled it very well. There was a gentleman who works at this awesome joint and chatted with us on their choice of quality on their meats and even offered to show us a little demo on him blow torching my auntie's beef rib with a perfectly executed char around the beef bone meat and melted fat with this yummy green sauce and OMG what a presentation. The vibe from the staff and hospitality we got from our waitress and this gentleman were phenomenal. This place is worth and hour and a half drive from the city of Los Angeles. Super desperate to return...
Read moreFound this place by chance, because Pho 79 was busy and had a wait. And I'm glad it was, because this place likely has the best pho I've ever had.
We got there a Sunday around 1:30pm or so. There were plenty of seating. The owner(I think) takes the orders and brings the food out and he was very friendly and helpful - recommended the best dishes to get, and even recommended other places when I asked for where to get good Viet Iced Coffee (that's made in front of you in a phin) and the best Banh Mi.
We got the Kuroushi house special pho and a Shaken Kuroushi Wagyu Beef. Both were fantastic. Meats were super soft and very flavorful and dishes were perfectly made. The garlic noodles weren't super salty, though felt a little more like Italian spaghetti interestingly.
Would highly recommend trying it out. Food is a little pricier than other pho places but I think...
