Nowadayss2022.. During Pandemic... ** I noticed there's lotsss of CHanges for this restaurant... I'd visit beginning of June... There's Outdoors TABLEss 2dines.. as well as indoor tables still there.. *so customers can dines as prefers ..:: indoor/ outdoor as theirs choices.. CHANGED in Menu BIG time.. this restaurant nowadays ONLY serves... Specifically... Vietnamese UDONss..!! NO more Rice in plates R any others ala-Carts.. likes special chicken rice, porkchop rice, fried rice, egg rolls, spring rolls,special chicken pho, ect... STRICTLY only Vietnamese UDONss...!! Owner n Cook told me since Pandemic time.. there were LESS customers orders those chef's specialty's courses.. too much loss for theirs revenues.. so Cutss Back.. on those Not Ordered by customers much... beside the *Populars Vietnamese UDONsss Still On the Rolls on their menu orderings the Most.... 😢 🤔 😷 😔...

I stay here almost 5 different time for occasions cause the location are convenient with the Asian specialty Vietnamese . Today I run in to the issue with I thinking the manager can results it easy. But the refuse to do I call to check see they have room on the 08–02-21 to ask if they have room available ? The receptionist told me that they have plenty of rooms available and that I can do a walk in Great ! I did check in a hours after I asked her. i didn’t know if I wanted to stay the next day or no she said it’s ok tomorrow they don’t have a lot of reservations either I should choose to paid day by day but she convinced me to paid for 2 nights ahead of the time and i didn’t think twice I paid for it and get what I have plan to go different directions check out at 10 :04 they said to late to check out LoL if I have a room reserved for today I have up to 3pm today to cancel . No Cústomer to many room empty so they try to lock us in and charge us extra day ! She is very rude thinking I don’t speaks English talk in Vietnamese version with the other staff I will find out her name will update her name Over all the front desk not friendly , only the cleaning staff are incredibly Not gonna coming back for this...

Old Review 2020: My favorite go to place for banh canh! A hidden gem in disguise like a long lost grandma!

I ordered the dac biet 1a. The thick noodle soup was full of savory flavors while the noodle was chewy. The right amount of flavor and texture blended together in each bite. The shrimp was creamy and fresh for the price you’re getting.

Overall: 5/5 Same great taste as before quarantine. Come here not for the aesthetics but for quality taste!

+1: They take social distancing serious. A restaurant that cares for the well being of their staff and customers is something I always appreciate.

Updated review: After 3 years (pre pandemic, pandemic, post) this place serves the same consistent and delicious banh canh. The udon noodles are delicious! It's chewy and absorbs all the flavor of the broth. Considering that we're dealing with so much inflation and it's a mom n pop shop run by a family, it is still a great deal and very reasonably priced for the size and quality. Don't know how they do it. The amount of broth, noodles, and the size and quality of the shrimp and fish balls is great. The service is also great.
