Taty's Specialty Coffee & Tea — Restaurant in Garden Grove

Currently as of today, 3/21 at 5:51pm, I’m parked outside this place and I’m very upset that I had to walk away with a drink that I did not select ‘oatmilk’ on the order screen. As soon as I walked away, I realized I forgot to click with Oatmilk and I tried my best to ask the person at the hand off bar if they can add Oatmilk within two minutes of the order being placed. Unfortunately, they can’t accommodate it because it had been made within a minute of placing my order and their service in response if I want them to remake- I have to pay for another drink just for oatmilk. It wasn’t all the way full. No ice or banana cream yet. It was sitting on the counter.

How ridiculous! It was not busy and I’m allergic to dairy and I have no choice but to not waste my money and drink this Banana Matcha that I have to force drink myself. This will be my last time coming to this location (GG) and Westminster. Why should I support a coffee/tea shop if they can’t remake drinks due to mistakes? That’s not SATISFACTION!

If you decide to stop by Taty’s make sure you check your order correctly! I notice if businesses only want you for your money it’ll show importantly. $6-7 is a lot just to remake for a mistaken...

Taty’s has been favorite boba place in town and when I heard they are coming to Garden Grove, of course I have to try!

They brewed their tea with teapresso so it always came out so strong and fragrant. Boba are brewed fresh every day and it's always soft and chewy with just the right brown sugar hint. I usually got their milk tea or just tea with boba, and Phoenix King Oolong have been my to-go so far for their unique flavorful fruity and floral hint. I decided to try something new today - Peach Lemongrass Orange Tea and it didn't disappoint. It's the perfect blend between sweet, citrus-y and a hint of lemongrass that pair well with crystal boba. Highly recommend for anyone that's searching for high quality and afforable boba tea. The space is warm & cozy with cute seasonal decor. They are usually really friendly and fast with the drinks. drinks🍵 I got to try their Banana creme matcha, Double matcha, and Pandan Coffee. All in the large size. Both of the matcha drinks were my favorite, I can't choose between them. One thing I would change next time is the sweetness level. When I took the first initial sip, it was so yummy but my head began to hurt a lot when I got to the bottom. Maybe it was the caffeine, maybe it was the sugar.

service🤗 The workers seemed very busy making drinks and preparing orders so amid all the busyness, I couldn't expect top-notch service. Overall, I wouldn't say it was bad but not amazing.

ambiance✨ This is their 2nd location in Garden Grove. I came here on a weekday around 3 p.m. It was busy but not overly packed. There were a couple of tables open and outlets available. They played a lot of r&b, which I appreciated because some places play edm. I would come here again to study or chat...
