Upon entering we were greeted right away with a warm welcome by Iris who was our server and was attentive and amazing. This trip was also with my younger brother who is 12 and enjoyed everything as well.
The place was very clean with a nice comforting ambiance.
We were not looking to get alcohol but they are not serving alcohol due to being in the process of getting an ABC License. So no alcohol for now, but maybe soon?
They give out a complimentary bowl of miso soup and a side of cabbage slaw which is nice.
The pacing of our meal was great as well, so this might be a great spot for a quick lunch.
a quick note: We did come in on a slow lunch with maybe a few tables sat when we arrived, so this may have had an impact on the quality of our experience.
Miso Soup:
Decent Flavor, very standard Miso Soup. One thing I appreciate is that it is not extremely salty. It might be good with just a little more but overall good.
Cabbage Slaw:
Very nice! not overly dressed. It has a tangy sesame dressing with a nice added crunch from some fried noodles and almond.
Edamame:
Great! some places tend to over steam them and they get mushy or dehydrated but these were sumptuous and perfect!
Beef Yakisoba:
Delicious! I'm not a yakisoba expert but the veggies were cooked wonderfully so they retained their crunch and took on the flavor of the dish well.
The beef is like a bulgogi beef marinated meat and gives a nice sweetness to the dish. The noodles are also cooked very well. The whole dish feels fresh!
Salmon Crunch Roll:
This was also delicious! The fry on it was well done. It avoided that heavy feeling of a deep fried anything. the amount of filling inside was alsp well portioned. The sweet sauce on top was also not overdone to over power the roll itself. Definitely a must try if you like fried salmon rolls.
Tiara Roll:
Delicious as well! there definitely is a lot of crab meat but I dont mind it. I think it could use maybe a little more veggie on it or something to lighten it up as everything is very savory. Overall I enjoyed it a lot. I believe there is Sriracha on it as well that gives it just enough heat.
I think if I could I would give Yuki Sushi a 4.5 becuase nothing was mind blowingly amazing but they did excel in some things while overall hitting the standard. Because of this I will be giving 5 stars and definitely a place to check out :)
Feedback on the Menu:
I think with how delicious everything was it would be worth it to retake the pictures for the menu items and potentially maybe moving the catering information to another menu entirely as it can make the menu feel cluttered for no reason or perhaps...
Read moreI had to give this place another chance. Came in around Christmas time and ordered a Bento Box, Beef Yaki Soba, & Lion King Roll. I gotta say the food was well improved! They have earned there starts back & will be coming back. The rest of this review was a bad experience. We have been going to Miyako's for years & where bummed when it closed. Drove by & noticed it was opened under a different name, Yuki. So we decided to stop by & get the usual. Very disappointed in the food & place! I ordered the bento box. The box had very little food compared to what I'm used to. Chicken was small pieces, rolls where tiny, small scoop of white rice, tempura small! We also got the crunch roll. Nothing crunchy & had to send it back. We mentioned it & where ignored. The yakisoba was also small. Noodles were tin. The edamame should have been rooted for a minute or two. It's like they unlocked the doors & opened the business up. Old worn out dishes. We spend about $70 for 2 adults & a child. There was only one other customer there around 3:30p and they also complained. This place should be called YUCK SUSHI. We will tell our family & friends to avoid this place has they were also frequent customers. No we will never return, plenty of other places with better...
Read moreWhen I walked into the restaurant, the atmosphere wowed me quite a bit. You did have your wooden chairs, your bar, and some seats that harbor at least 4 people. However one of my favorite parts is the drink machine. These people here sell a premium beer which is dispensed from a dispenser with a katana handle on it. They are really onto the Japanese aesthetic with the floors, furniture, and materials which makes it comfortable for me. The employees though are also quite kind and welcoming. Immediately when someone was servicing a customer, the employee noticed me and 2 friends and asked if a table is needed, then proceeded to show us a seat. Now the atmosphere and the service is nice, what about the food? The thing is food started to bore me a bit as I have eaten the usual food, with others not really satisfying me. The sushi here is amazing, I loved every bite I had of it, this establishment deserves...
