I came at 6:50 ordered spring rolls, pate chaud and four sandwiches which I am very happy but my smoothie was a ice cachang. I forwarded many durian smoothies before and it was liquefied so I could use a small straw. This time they gave me a boba straw and I asked for a small one and they told me you can't use it because if the ice. I came back the next day and told them there was not enough juice flavoring and it was all ice. I had to go to the gym for 2 hours when I came out. The ice still have not melted. I asked for another one and they said no. That's terrible service and they lost my business. I don't see how they could destroy their public relations over not knowing how to make a smoothie to liquefy it. It's the rudeness that was shocking. I'm Vietnamese and I am very polite. They told me how come you didn't tell us before the store close. I told them I was hungry and I only took a sip until I finish my meal. Then I realized it was all ice for a $6 smoothie. Unbelievably they did not...
Read moreHad a bad experience here where the cashier lady was giving me attitude. I knew what I wanted to order and simply just wanted to change one sandwich before the order was going to be officially placed and gave me attitude for it. Then, I have never been to a place where fish sauce won’t be given out especially when ordering egg rolls. I politely asked if it came with fish sauce and she looked at with a sharp tone saying NO. That is when it got me. I told her I would like to purchase a fish sauce and she gave me the deepest, ugliest sigh and eye roll I have ever seen. I felt like she really looked down on me for just a fish sauce. Other than the experience I felt Lee’s Sandwhiches is better. I ordered a warm sandwich but it was still cold, no warmth at all. However, this is place had very good prices. Definitely not coming back...
Read moreI’m so happy that there is a THH location just 8 minutes from my home. They make excellent bánh mì here and the service is always friendly. The menu is huge with options for bánh cuốn, stews, noodles, porridge, other standard to go items like spring rolls and a good size drink menu. I think the stand out is the bánh mì. The bread is flavorful, fresh, and crispy and the đặc biệt filling is perfectly portioned with meat and veggies.
As many bánh mì joints go, they do cater more to Vietnamese customers so there may be some language barriers. If you are confused, I would kindly ask for clarification. Everyone I’ve spoken to in Vietnamese has been friendly and polite so I’m surprised by the negative feedback regarding service: perhaps something is lost in...
