You will not want to eat here after my experience... First I ordered a combo with two fish..add a chicken. They bagged the cold ass greasy ass food up after waiting too long for the contents to be as poor as they were. Take the food to the car and decided to check the order. Of course I received 3 pieces of fish. So I IMMEDIATELY went back in to get the chicken at which she states...it will be 5 minutes. So I take my food, go back to the car and began to eat because now I can't just go home as originally planned. Eating the fish...placing vinager on it and taking crispy parts off the other pieces... when I told my daughter to go in and get the chicken... my daughter came back to the car THROUGHLY embarrassed as said, "mom, in order for you to get the chicken you have to give the the piece of fish back." 👀 My wife was on the phone and said, 'did I just hear her right? You have to give the fish back?" I don't argue with stupid people, so I immediately folded over the box with all the empty vinager packets and the piece of fish that I snapped crispy pieces off of and gave it to my daughter. So if you ordered a fish dinner and it had the taste of vinager and you don't eat vinager.... that was mine. Sorry... I just try to keep down confrontation as much as possible. NEEDLESS to say... This is the only LJS that is open anywhere near us now days, since the one near Santa Ana closed. Was told when I arrived that they were no longer serving the entirety of the Long John's part of the menu for the night. There was no signage to indicate this, it wasn't told to use before we started to order, absolutely no reason this should happen aside from people not wanting to bother to take the time to cook the food. My poor kid had a horrible meltdown because they were expecting something they were really excited for, only for me to have to explain that they couldn't get it, and to not even have a real explanation as to why. How do you explain to a 5 year old, let alone an autistic one, that someone in a restaurant that is open won't make the food that's on the menu for them?

Read moreI rushed over because they told me they closed at 10:00 over the phone . I get there at 9:45. I place my order and they tell me that they're not making Long John Silver's because they're cleaning the fryers. If you say you close at 10:00 you need to be serving the whole menu till 10:00. I'm thinking if for some reason that will never make any sense to me you need to clean them fryers prior to closing then you need to state that when people call and ask what time you close, have a sign, make it known on the website or something. What a freaking night! I head just landed to LAX, got to the car and found I had two flat tires or I would have made it there prior to 9:45. Congratulations you win the most of the upsetting event...
