Tacos La Perla — Restaurant in Gardena

I used to come here every Tuesday for years and years before covid. They had a taco Tuesday special and the chicken tacos were cooked to perfection. I came here on the 24th and it was a complete 180 of it's former self. The tacos were not the same, the flavoring and preparation of the tacos were not the same. The reason for the 1 star is also due to the pricing. In no world should these tacos be worth 3.75 and also got rid of taco Tuesday special pricing. Authenticity in an affordable price!!

I have tried many other mexican restaurants, some will look good outside but not inside when coming to food. But here it is opposite, in the beginning I didn’t even realized there existed a restaurant here. My friend recommended me this place. I was skeptical in the beginning about the food and quality. I am surprised with the truth that they did an awesome job in all quality, authenticity, service, but the setup is like a local mexican restaurant back in its heritage. Yeah for me food with this love feeded in gives ecstasy. So if you are around check this worthy one.

Little hole in the wall. My parent would bring me to this place since I was small, and I have done the same with my kids. The service is great, corn tortillas are freshly made, the food is also fresh and delicious. My favorite are the chorizo mulitas, and quesadillas de carne asada. The facility is clean, and the parking is average. This is great place to try authentic Mexican food, which is usually hard to find, so I would totally recommend, but please note that it is a cash only place.
