Captain D's — Restaurant in Gardendale

We waited for 25 minutes on two 3 piece fish plates wit two sides cold slaw and fries .on my plate i had a half of a icecream scouper on both plates and 12 french fries pieces not long fries but short pieces of fries .as i looked at the plates before i took them to my table .I ask the lady could they please put more cold slaw on my two plates . I did not see the skimpy fries until i sat down ..then my wife put one of her pieces of fish that was not coyntry fried like she ask for .so i had 4 pieces of fish now .as I looked at her plate he fish was small and round as my pointer finger .after 25 minutes of waiting $19.95 for two plates of nothing . . This was a long wait and the food was clod and skimpy at best. Not worth the money or wait . One plate shows 4 pieces of fish battered that was my plate after my wife gave me the pieces of fish that was cooked wrong on her plate and you can see where they added more cold slaw on both plates to much Mayonaise she could not eat it .we used a coupon which brought the price down $5.00 .it helped but the food was cold and skimpy and late 25 minutes and taste bad .I will never eat there again .I use to eat there years ago the food used to be more and better .but now it is cheap and small .do not waste your...

My grandad stays near here and loves their ice. We stopped to get him some and I got a four piece with Mac and cheese and broccoli. First it took a very long time for them to get to the speaker to even take my order. There was a line when I got there, I guess they were trying to clear it before taking new customers. I sat at the speaker for over ten minutes. When my order was finally taken, which took a while because I had to keep repeating myself, I roll up to the window and immediately see the cashier get hit in the head with a breadstick. Ok. They are human beings and not robots. But then she threw it back instead of the trash. The other visible cashier was eating from a plate right there by where they were passing out the food. The African American female manager on evening shift, along with some of the African American young ladies that work with her, has some attitude problems and need more training in professionalism and customer courtesy. A few of the young ladies rather be on ther phones or sitting down and don't seem to want to work. I know i had a problem when one of the young ladies left items off my order and how she had an attitude when I politely asked her for condiments i ordered and my pie she didn't bring to me. I had the incident inside with the manager and the young lady that took my order and I have aready reported it to corporate. I asked for my money back and left the establishment. I don't care to express on here all of what they said and how they talked to me.But I'm very disappointed with them after visiting this place numerous times.
