This is the Warrior McD's that's across the street from Shell gas station and Taco Bell. I went through drive thru and the sign read Cash only that their card reader in the drive through was down I was going to go get cash, but then she mentioned it was working inside so I decided to go inside: big mistake. This was Wednesday night, March 23rd, 2022 around 9pm. Good experience ordering my food. Young blonde haired guy with glasses was very nice and made sure order was correct and asked if I wanted anything else. Very nice. Waited for the food. Got it. Checked it. Everything was right. All I was missing was the Large Chocolate Shake. Got the receipt and showed the lady I didn't get my shake. She asked what size? I looked at the receipt and made sure I had paid for a large shake. I told her I didn't want to get something I didn't pay for. Wanted to get the size I had paid for. She mumbled and said I don't think it really matters. She was rude. She acted like she didn't want to get my shake for me when I asked for it and went on to shake it doesn't matter about the size. That's not what made my experience bad. It was the guy that walked up to her and started talking to her that made it bad. I think she was the manager, but I'm not sure. I thanked her for the shake and walked over to the drink area to get a straw and napkins. This man knew I was still in the building. He was brown headed, skinny, looked to be in his late 20s or 30s, around 5'7 - 6ft tall. Not sure what he was talking about but I did hear the words: God D said as well as F**k. He said it so loud that the lady mopping the floor said hey she's still in here. I said yeah and that's so unprofessional. She proceeded to apologize for him. I told her that I have my moments, but I remember to control myself in public especially when I'm at work. He didn't say a word just kept talking to the lady behind the counter. Bad experience. Bad me want to take the food back and get my money back. I normally have a good experience there, but not that night. Felt like who ever reads these comments that works there...

1st visit - Ordered via the mobile app then pulled into a parking spot and entered the number of the pick up sign into the app. When the food was brought out we were told that they didn't do the curbside pick up after 5:00pm as their lobby is then closed and to come through the drive thru. No way to know that though until then. Oddly, enough a few weeks later we happened to go to the Fultondale location and since it was after 5p and we ordered via the app we went through the drive thru. That caused a lot of confusion and they told us to always park and enter the number of the parking sign. When we described the situation at the Gardendale location they stated that it isn't true. I don't care which is true or not I just need to know what the process is and it should be standard across McDonald's so that this isn't a guessing game.
2nd visit - Stopped by to get an Oreo McFlurry. What I got was a cup of ice cream less than a teaspoon of Oreos. Additionally, it was supposed to come with a clear hard plastic spoon to stir them up as McDonald's doesn't mix them for you. What I got was a thin plastic spoon which will simply break when trying to stir it up. Next time just inform the customer that you're out of that item. I would have been happier to not have paid for something than to have paid for something but not received what I paid for.
3rd visit - Ordered a cheeseburger combo and that thing was dried out like an old sponge. Not sure why someone running a business would want to serve something like that.

Read moreI didn't have a good experience at this McDonald's. Went in the am and ordered food and just an egg and cheese mcmuffin meaning I just wanted egg and cheese on it. Pulled up to the second window to get my food after paying at the first and the lady hands me the food and immediately shuts the window (I wanted to ask for Jelly). I was just like cool whatever, but I pulled down to check my food and the mcmuffin had ham on it. So I went inside and another lady looks at me and ask me what's wrong. So I politely tell her I want just and egg and cheese mcmuffin and it's ham on it and I was missing a Hashbrown when I ordered two. She has an attitude and say that's how they come so it's not wrong. I tell her well I didn't know but I only asked for egg and cheese and I asked her could she fix it. She walked off and told the cooks to remake it and brings the bag back with the new sandwich and an old hard hashbrown and immediately walked off. So I stood there again, and this time, the same lady from the window, asked me what's wrong and I told her I was given a hard hashbrown. As she was giving me a new one the other lady asked her "whats wrong this time" and proceeds to say "she's really getting on my nerves". I'm not sure how I got on her nerves when I was very polite and just asked for my food to be remade cause I know mistakes happen and they could be understaffed or whatever.
