Ming's Garden — Restaurant in Gardendale

I never really rate restaurant’s like that but I just have to leave a review. First and foremost I wish they had the option of not even giving a star because this place doesn’t deserve not a dot of a star. This was my first time going here and I’ll never in my life return back. I spent over 60 dollars for basically trash(and I say trash because that’s exactly the smell I got from it when I opened the container) I ordered egg foo young and it was unidentifiable the meat that was on top is in question and it smelled so bad. The so called gravy was just oil and water. It was not eatable. I also ordered Mongolian beef and this was the first time I ever saw it made like that. The meat was chewy and you couldn’t swallow it. It was sweet and I didn’t get the kick that I was looking for. And I ordered beef and broccoli and the smell from it made me vomit. Nothing was not eatable at all. Honestly nothing was great about this place not even the people that works there. I couldn’t even switch the nasty steamed rice for the fried rice. I guess I wasn’t missing anything with that neither. Over all beware when you order from here and smell it. By the way you can’t even get your money...

When I was a little girl I remember going to Ming's and thinking it was the best Chinese food I had ever tasted...... Not so much anymore.

We went last night and I was VERY VERY disappointed. A huge waste of money. We literally took about two bites from each thing we ordered then got pizza.

My boyfriends food was bland (chicken lo mein) mine was overly salty (moo goo gi pan)... No big deal, there is still the egg rolls, they will redeem the meal... Unwrapping them, they looked HUGE and tantalizingly delicious, alas a major disappointment (just like my ex). For dessert I always get crab rangoons , the sweet cream cheese with the crunchy salty crust, dipped in sweet and sour sauce, mmmmm. Again nope, there was barely any cream cheese, just a pocket full of lumpy flavorless imitation crab meat : /.

All in all the meal lacked just as much luster as the lady behind the counters demeanor.

Chinese food, the Cadillac of take out left overs, was half eaten and then thrown away. Had I eaten on site I would have taken the two bites from each dish that it required to decided it was nasty and asked for a...

Went in on a sunday, lunch specials dont apply on sundays, okay cool, no biggie. I was with two of my friends, one friend decided the buffet looked alright and was willing to try it. Myself and my other friend decided we wanted something off of the menu instead. They wouldnt give us any menus until we asked. Okay fine maybe they just assumed we were all getting the buffet. So she and i i were looking at the single menu they gave us and this elderly asian woman walked over and basically snatched the menu from us and told us to get the buffet. Okay, now i'm concerned. We decided to shake it off and eat the buffet anyway. All of the food was just awful literally the only thing i i could eat were the little rolls with sugar on them. And my friend is a bit of a messy eater so he thought he'd dropped a bit of food onto his arm and went to wipe it off AND IT WAS A LIVE ROACH CRAWLING ON HIM. Also their sweet tea was absolutely disgusting. Thank you...
