Jerry's grill — Restaurant in Gardnerville

We stopped for lunch, sat there waiting forever while the other waitress walked by us several times& had to ask for menus,then ordered a salad & Wrong dressing came on it, whwn told if the mistake she smirked..waited for 40 plus minutes for a French dip onions rings & fired mushrooms. Which were soaked in oil. It was literally dripping off the onion Rings& deep mushrooms..must be old oil....I let them know, but all she did was smile.. the French dip was good think they need to change the nasty old oil,as I ended up with a sick stomach,mot opted then 5 minutes down the road!! Icalled and was told that noone else was sick so...guess it was just me huh🤔 hope they fix the issues there. Not worth the money.. ....not cool Disappointed, since we don't eat out but once a month. Definitely not returning. P.s get someone who can understand english. To take orders not...

Nice place, and the food was good. Service was a bit slow, especially since they weren't very busy. The burgers were quite tasty, but a little high on the price for what we got, in my opinion. My wife got the Ortega burger with fries, and hers was great, the fries could have used maybe 60 more seconds in the fryer to get a little crunch. I ordered the bacon mushroom Swiss burger, which was also good, and onion rings, which I paid an extra $1 for, and got 4 onion rings. The onion rings were absolutely amazing, probably some of the best I've ever eaten, but only 4 of them. Overall, I would recommend this place, just have patience and take my review with a grain, because maybe it was because it was close to closing, or short staffed, or whatever, I would still recommend this restaurant as the food...

The entire experience was really good up until the very end. When I went to pay for my bill, they refused to accept my American Express card. I remember these days a decade ago, but I was surprised to still see a restaurant that refuses to allow a customer to pay with the card of their choice. I use my Amex card for everything and maybe once a year I come across this. It's too bad Jerry's is going to lose my business and probably any other business person traveling through Gardnerville. For some it doesn't make a difference, but for me, I need to use that card for...
