this is the best chicken francaise I have ever had....chicken, top Michelin Chefs I hope I spelled that right... know is a very Delicate meat... remarkably few restaurants know how to cook it....most other places that I go (whether it's an Italian theme or not) rarely know how to cook chicken they overcook it because they are terrified.. of it being undercooked and thus ruin it. cooking is not supposed to be a fearful experience It's supposed to be an expression of an art... from what I understand it's supposed to be timed and watched.... this restaurant is a breath of fresh air... this chicken is cooked Beyond ...perfect so good in fact it almost made me cry... it made me realize when I'm missing....prepared to extremely be happy with this restaurant... I don't want to forget to mention the huge massive loaf of bread that they give you you can use to clean up your sauce on your plate... Italian style and it's probably meant for that purpose... bring your friends... understand this is an old world recipe restaurant that compromises nothing... this restaurant quality is In my opinion.... top tier Michelin league... and I am not affiliated with the restaurant in any way it was my first time dining here and I will be coming back... how a restaurant cooks its chicken will tell you about how almost everything else is made... because it is so hard to get that right....this place excels I can't speak...
Read moreHow this place got 4+ stars baffles me. The décor is dated and looks a little run down. It is on a main road, the lights from oncoming cars was very distracting. They need better window treatments. The food was awful. We ordered an avocado salad to share and at 7pm they were out of avocado, so we ordered fried calamari, it was so chewy you practically had to swallow it whole and the marinara sauce tasted like they opened a jar and poured it in a bowl. We barely ate any of it, when the waiter came to clear, he asked if there was a problem with it and we told him, then said we didn't like. For my entrée I ordered chicken parmesan over angel hair in a vodka pink sauce which they told me would be an extra charge, which I didn't mind (red sauce is to acidic for my stomach). When our food arrived, only the pasta was in pink sauce in a ball on the side of the chicken which was smothered in red sauce. I sent it back only to get it back cold. The pink sauce was horrible, I could not eat it. The maître d ask if there was anything wrong, I told him I didn't like it he did offer to get me something else, but at that point it was too late. They did not offer to take any charges off the bill, which in my opinion was overpriced to begin with. A glass of wine was $9.00. I will NOT be...
Read moreWhen we arrived we headed to the bar. The bartender Tina looked at me...never smiled...I then asked if they had a list of wines by the glass. She said what do you like? I have everything. Meanwhile I wanted a list so I could see the selection. They obviously have a list but she refused to show it to me. Then my husband went to the car and he asked me to order him a gin and tonic. I said what kind of gin do you have? We have everything she said...funny thing is he likes Hendricks but it's a name I can never remember. So again I ended up with Tangueray. I have never ever written a review. This is my first!! I worked in the restaurant business for 7 years. When you go out to dine...the last thing I want is a rude bartender. The food was good but not worth Tina's attitude. Make sure you call and only go if she's not working!!!! As for me if I ever go again I will make sure she's...
