Horrible service! I went with my husband and our 5 children on Saturday 04/16/2022 and when we got there it was practically empty but had to wait 20 minutes to sit which was no biggie for us. When we sat the menus were placed in the middle of the table so was the silverware. The host then walked off. We usually go to another chillis down the way in Town east area. They sit you down greet you give everyone a menu and pass out there silverware. Our waitress comes who served our drinks and took our orders by the name of Hannah I believe which she was helpful. I ordered a margarita and right when it was brought out a lady (food runner) brought out the kids food about 25 minutes before me and my husband got ours and handed all the meals to my 5 year old instead of her passing out the food to who it belonged to. As I'm grabbing the food from my 5 year old to pass to who it belonged to (since the food runner gave it all to my 5 year old) I hit the margarita glass with one of the plates by accident. Well the training manager Damion said they wouldn't replace it since I dropped it, and it was dropped because I'm trying to get the plates from my 5 year old. He said they couldn't replace it and I still had to pay for it. When the drink was dropped I had to get up and go ask the host napkins to clean it because no one brought me anything to clean it up they just kind of sat around and watched. I spent over $100 when I should have taken my money else where because I literally was not given any good service till I explained to Hannah how i was angry and upset because of the whole situation. If you have a big family don't go here and if you're looking to get served it wont happen here! Go...
Read moreI went in on Father's Day, with my octogenarian parents. The restaurant was empty but still the service was horrible. The first server was cold as a dead fish, she managed to greet us in less than a minute but never said "Welcome to Chili's" , and otherwise so far obvious that she wanted to leave. The first server, didn't know her name was cold and told my dad who is an 87 year old Army veteran that they were out of coffee. Oops 😬. Tyler replaced the first unknown server and they were nice , took our order promptly and cordially. But the food took over 30 minutes in an empty restaurant. Tyler stopped by and said they would check on the order, soon the food was delivered. The food was horrible, in fact my father's food was served cold as the corn seemed to have been sitting for a long time. Overall the food was nearly inedible, tough ribs, cold corn, dry chicken fajitas. 3 management members stopped by to ask how we were doing and I could see that they knew everything was horrible how they dropped the ball but little in the way of making it right.
I don't understand how a restaurant at 3 pm runs out of coffee. My old army veteran father on Father's Day can't get coffee?
I have been a professional server for over 26 years and I have to say that I will never come back to this place ever again or even try...
Read moreTHEY DON'T DESERVE A ONE STAR RATING!!! Absolutely hated my experience there. They wouldn't seat my family because there were 5 of us, which included two children aged 2 and 8. The skinny white girl said they don't seat more than six people, but there were only 3 adults and 2 children, last I checked that added up to 5. As she was telling me that my 2 year old daughter puts us over 6, a group of overweight white people walked in, a family of four that she said she would seat. I lost it immediately. One it's 10:30 at night and way too hard to find another FAMILY RESTAURANT, and two we are a group of 5 not 6.
It was racist behavior at it's finest. I asked to speak with the manager on duty and out comes a 16 yr old black teenager, that ironically felt bad about the situation. He apologized to me for the behavior but wouldn't force the server to seat us. Horrible experience, wouldn't have any of my BLACK friends and family to ever go back. It's in Garland which is a predominantly white city,so no surprise there. She should be fired for her behavior, and if I ever go back or if I'm in the neighborhood, I'll be sure to find a formal complaint with the manager Amber that was not on duty but had a plaque on the wall.
Not a family restaurant and...
