BigDash is definitely a Dallas staple when it comes to Middle Eastern desserts. The place is always spotless, beautifully designed, and has that clean, modern vibe you really appreciate when taking family or guests out. The quality is consistently high — from the presentation to the flavors — and you can tell they take a lot of pride in what they serve.
We tried a variety of treats this time around. The Hebba Cake was rich and satisfying — but wow, $14 for a slice? Prices are definitely creeping up. We also got the Dubai Chocolate Cup for the girls — layered with chocolate, pistachio, and kunafa — beautiful to look at and delicious, but again, the price felt way over the top. It seems like anything with the word Dubai in it automatically becomes a premium dessert.
The Tres Leches cake was soft and moist, a solid pick. The kids loved their ice cream, especially the stretchy Arabic-style flavors. I personally love their Arabic custard cups — smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet. We also got crème puffs topped with pistachios, which were delicate and tasty. The Ferrero Rocher crepe roll was indulgent, and the chocolate-covered crepe with strawberries inside was a crowd-pleaser.
Overall, I love BigDash. It’s one of those places that adds flavor and flair to the Dallas dessert scene. Everything tastes good, the service is friendly, and the space feels fancy without being pretentious. Just wish the prices weren’t climbing so fast — but I guess that’s the cost of dessert...
Read moreFrom the moment you step through the door, the experience at big dash is nothing short of exceptional. The ambiance sets the tone right away—elegantly designed, with warm lighting and a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you instantly feel special, but also at ease. The service was impeccable. Staff were attentive without being overbearing, and their recommendations for mousse dubia cup, kanaka menu choices were spot on. You can tell they’re well-trained and genuinely care about the guest experience. As for the PASTRIES where do I even begin? Every PASTRIES was a masterpiece, not just in flavor but in presentation. The dubia strawberry cup was a perfect balance of textures and flavors, with each bite better than the last. The ingredients were fresh, locally sourced, and clearly prepared with great attention to detail. What stood out the most was the overall attention to detail. The little touches, or the personalized menu, made this experience feel truly unique. And don’t even get me started on dessert—the dubia chocolate was the perfect sweet ending to an already flawless meal. While the experience was on the pricier side, it was absolutely worth it. Big dash isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience. If you’re looking to indulge in something special, this place should be at the top of your list. Highly recommend! I will be back with my family thank you again...
Read moreI really hate to leave a bad review but I'm shocked. I'm a regular customer and my family loves all the ice cream products. For the first time, I ordered a whole cookie butter cake for a birthday party. It looked beautiful but the taste and texture did not reflect the exterior. The cake was extremely dense and dry; definitely overbaked and overmixed. No one was able to enjoy the cake and it went to waste. That was the most expensive non-customized cake I've ever bought. For $50 plus tip, I was expecting the cake to be absolutely delicious and moist. The gentleman who sold me the cake, advised me to choose another cookie butter cake in the display because it was baked 6 hours prior to the one I chose but I said it was okay I'd stick to the one I chose because I liked the way it was decorated since I'd be serving to my guests. It was badly prepared and baked but beautifully decorated. It wasn't bad because it was 6 hours older than the other option. What a waste. I'll stick to...
