I always try to eat local when I can. I visited this restaurant for the first time this past Sunday around 4 pm. The restaurant was completely empty but we were greeted and seated by this young lady. She didn't speak English very well, but we were able to order our food. A soup, chicken quesadilla, 2 single tacos, a large horchata and a cup of water. When it was time to pay, I went to the cashier table. She typed something on the register and told me my total. I was surprised at how high the bill was, but I figured I just totally forgot the prices. She ran my card, I added tip and signed the receipt. I then asked her to give me the detailed receipt. At this point she froze up because she knew, that in knew, something was wrong. I didn't want to make a scene so I took the receipt and walked out. I checked the receipt in my truck and noticed she charged us for "Fiji" water, which we never were given, and she also added auto gratuity. I have never heard of a table of 2 getting a 15% auto gratuity. This is also not listed on the menu. I am not looking for a refund. Just to make other customers aware. I'll just spend my money...

I ordered the breakfast burrito and pointed to a picture they had plastered outside their restaurant. My order didnât have any eggs, when I returned to let them know, the young cook swears she did but I opened the burrito to show the owner..only cheese, rice, and beans⊠the cook finally made it with frustration and an attitude.
I also told the owner this doesnât look anything like the breakfast burrito that you have posted outsideâŠ. She offered to make a new burrito but I told her I donât have another 10 mins to wait and needed to go to work.
I ate half the burrito and had stomach pains all day, then sleeping on the toilet all night with the worse crampsđ«đ
This was the only thing I ate that day because of the pain I was in. So I know it wasnât anything else. This morning I woke up and my stomach feels like I got sucker punched!
Attached is the advertise picture of the burrito which lured me in...
Read moreWe had a baleada and a burrita. I really liked how they both tasted. I do believe that the food is overpriced, and I didn't like the fact that they do not give you your receipt. They charge for service even if it is to-go, without asking you if you want to pay for service or without even mentioning in advance that you will have to pay for mandatory service. This is a bit odd.. I wonder if this is legal.
Their service is good, though.
I noticed a sign that said that they charge 15% service if there are more than 3 customers at a table (dine-in).
They did take around 35minutes for those 2 dishes, though. It seems like Honduran service is a bit slow overall. Make sure you call ahead to order if you are too...
