Taqueria Garcia's — Restaurant in Garland

Well I ordered a Pozole to go on Sunday 1/26/25 evening and when I got home it was too late to eat it so I decided to save it for the morning. So when I was ready to warm up the pozole, I noticed that they had given me 2 pieces of fat, only no meat what so ever. It was a rip-off because I was expecting some meat for the price they charged me that was around $13-$14 dollars.. So please make sure to check your food before you guys leave the restaurant, especially if you stay far away like me 1hr and 15min away. I was really disappointed because every other food I had tasted its great, and they did put a lot of meat on the tacos, but that was not the case for the pozole they could of been honest and said that they had run out of meat for the pozole and I would off been able to order something else.. But this was my first bad experience, I had never had one before with them.. Only for the pozole, I will give them 1 star, but for their other food, we can say its...

Best Place here in the Garland surrounding area for tacos, parrillada & MENUDO - JESUS CHRIST himself would come back from Heaven to eat this food. We were sick bad, taste buds all off from having the Freaking Flu, but that did not STOP the POWER of the taste and love that was put into the Menudo. While waiting for the menudo - I was like well why not give me that a plate of that Parrillada and man I would love to say it tasted great since I got Menudo for the wife and kids and that for me, but as soon as I came home my dang kids (2, 3, & 12) ate it like mini tazmanian devils. At least I got to eat some of the left over onions as they ate the meats, the onions, & the bell peppers. It smelled good, looked delicious, & the kids all told me how amazing it is. I have come several times and it gets better each & every time! Breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner, dessert… they have it ALL! The food is so fresh, the people are very nice, service is great, place is clean, and they just get it right. It’s one of my favorite casual neighborhood spots and is, for my waistline, dangerously close to my house. 😂 The ownership has clearly made wise business decisions. They have a small footprint with limited overhead, but have a huge menu for the space that appeals to a wide variety, and indoor/outdoor seating with a drive thru for your convenience. *No, I do not work here. But I grew up in restaurants & am still in the business. So I know what it takes & respect a good & well-run one. No, I am not family. But they treat me & mine like we are when we go, and that counts for a lot for me. Go eat there & support...
