Visit the place often, the staff is nice and friendly. The bowls look beautiful but the manager was not flexible with meeting my needs.
This time- My neighbor joined me for a visit. She is elderly and only wanted acia bowl without all the toppings honey, granola, fruit- restricted diet. She only wanted cocoa Nibs on the side- little, not a lot.
The first crew was did a good job. The manager came over insisted I get one topping in the actual bowl. I told her this was for later and we don't want the Nibs melted in the acia. We do not want all the fruit and honey. Only acia and Nibs. Manager said they could not fill up the container and I said ok. We are not looking for extra. . Neighbor is elderly and that is all she want.
Manager had the employee empty the 1/2 oz of of cocoa nibs out the small togo container and we had to get the Nibs in the larger container with the acia. The manager said other will want fruit in separate container. I assured her I do not want fruit, only acia and Nibs and the worker had everything covered.
We received less acia than normal and the Nibs at the bottom of the container- which melted.
My neighbor was disappointed and I felt really bad with this visit. My neighbor is 90 years old and we just wanted to get her what she wanted. Her grandson had to scoop the acia out before it melted and meshed w the Nibs. Then she did not want it.
I was so disappointed that I paid more and was willing to accept less product but the manager refused to accomodate our needs. :.(
I missed the Soul Bowl truck today. I wished the Juice House could have been a little more willing to meet the needs. Feeling really bad--

Read moreGreat juice bar and excellent prices. Place has 3 sizes for all their juices: 12oz for $5.25, 16oz for $6.25, and the 20oz for $7.25. Smoothies are available at same size fractions at extra 25cents.
Place has free parking in the back. You'll have to drive around half a block and enter an apartment complex driveway. Luckily, they have a back entrance (not clearly marked) for those who are in a rush and don't want to walk half a block to reach front entrance.
Juice bars are slowly becoming a common business. Some have their own gimmicks and promises, and all have their own prices. The Juice House offers 3 sizes at 3 affordable prices. This is a plus for you.
I've visited many juice bars. Some are expensive for a small size. See my photo that show three 20oz fresh pressed juices at $7.25 each compared to 1 small $9 juice (their largest size) purchased from a Cranford business a...
Read moreWaited 45 minutes in line, placed an order for a small smoothie that came out to $10. The girl making it put a splash of almond milk in the blender and filled it with ice. I was already worried because I paid $10 for a smoothie and expected it to consist mostly of actual ingredients and not ice. When it finished blending, she poured it in the small cup and it only made it halfway up the cup (no surprise here, considering she put a splash of almond milk in). She put it back in the blender, AND ADDED MORE ICE!!!!! I ended up with a smoothie that was pure ice, and I was unable to drink it with a straw because only half of the ice was blended.
Friendly staff, but I will not be coming...
