Jackie's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Gas City

I had always heard the food was pretty good here, so while in Gas City I thought I would give it a try. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries and I thought it took a bit long to get being there weren't that many other customers. When I got my order I was immediately disappointed to see they serve crinkle cut fries, the worst kind IMO. They were also pretty limp and not crispy. The burger was obviously a frozen patty that was pretty tasteless and, about halfway thru the bun began to crumble, a sign of not so fresh. Compared to Paula's in Marion and the Sweetser Cafe my meal was really disappointing. I would have given it a 1 star but the older lady waiting tables...

My wife and myself First time at this restaurant. We r not from the area and was told by a lady at the check out at a gas station in Marion Indiana ,that this was a good place to have breakfast. So we went there. We both were very disappointed. Coffee was weak and Luke warm. I wanted wheat bread, got white. And to much butter on both our toast. Made it soggy. Wanted over medium eggs. They were runny whites .Didn't eat toast or eggs. My wife's soda was flat as a pancake. Wait time was long. The only thing I can say good ,the older lady waitress was polite. I did leave her a tip. The food has gone down hill every since Jackie hired that cook today I ordered a hot ham and cheese sandwich and on half of the sandwich they only had it one side the ham and cheese wasn't filling the sandwich the bread wasn't toasted which it should be it wasn't a cold sandwich the ham was way to salty and I ordered it on wheat bread and got it on white bread I am not going to sit there and argue with Jackie because it isn't her fault it's the woman who cooks the food she needs to get rid of her she isn't fast either she makes coustmers wait a long while for her to...
