McDonald's — Restaurant in Gas City

Horrible, every time we go in here. The staff look miserable and dirty, I have never seen anyone smile and never had one greet me as I come in. My husband and I just went there and had the same terrible service as always- we walked in and saw three girls leaning against the counter on their phones. One looked up long enough to stare at us as we came in, never speaking, making us feel like we were invading their 'patch' like a rival gang or something, since they looked like they were hanging out in a parking lot for a smoke rather than serving customers at work. Brushing that aside, we ordered, carrying the whole conversation since we still weren't greeted (I said hi to her but got nothing but a blank stare the entire time, while her pals were still hanging out on their phones at the counter). We ordered to stay, but when we got our food it was bagged up to go- not a big deal, especially as by that time we were so disgusted that we just wanted to leave (we debated about staying as soon as we walked in, given the horrible reception we got, but tried to give it chance). On our way out, we noticed a table full of managers in the back seating area where they could not see the counter, having a meeting. We asked them (quite patiently) to tell their staff to get off their phones and at least speak or smile once to the customers. The managers- all four or five of them- tried to laugh it off and just kept smiling like that would make it ok- no interest in getting up to see what we were taking about (they never did get up to check by the time we left) so we politely said, please stop laughing and smiling when we're putting in a complaint, your staff is terrible, please do something about it.... we got a weak, "sorry about that" from one of them, then they carried on with their meeting. We should have listened to our gut and left right away. Last time we were in there, besides being on their phones, the staff was yelling at each other so loudly we could hear everyone's business through the whole place, while a 'manager' disciplined a guy in front of us so loudly at the counter that I had to repeat my order to be heard. Ridiculous, disgusting, and completely unpolished and unprofessional, all of them. This location is just gross and we will not be going back, it's just not worth it. We will be notifying corporate and hoping someone there...

I came in Friday, January 26th @ 6 p.m to enjoy a quick dinner with my family and instantly regretted coming here. Right away the short curly haired girl working front counter showed attitude the whole transaction for no reason. We were kind through the whole process and she for some reason had something against us. When she brought our food she borderline slammed it then slid it. Not too aggressive but enough to make a slap and have people stare at us. We still thanked her multiple times including the shorter boy who usually works front counter. No response each time. I have been here once a week for years and no one ever displays manners slightly mostly the front counter kid. Also the tall manager that looks like pj from “Good Luck Charlie” was practically shouting a co workers business. He displayed to the whole restaurant how he suspended him for a week and he added “I’ll show him okay” all because the kid texted him back with “okay”. I was a McDonald’s manager for almost 3 years and never did we even tell a co worker other workers business especially disciplinary actions. This whole night shift needs serious reevaluation and monitored. They yell, sing, horseplay, and even throw food. Somebody needs to tell them...

I will avoid this location from now on. Stopped here with my son for breakfast before dropping him off for school. We waited far too long for a small order of two sandwiches, two hash browns and two drinks... Well, what should have been two drinks. this is the second time I've ordered a Large Mocha Frappe and they will make you wait forever after you order and when they give you your food, say "wE cAn'T mAkE tHe FrApPe". Why am I able to order it on the Kiosk then?

They say they have no control over it, but it's funny some items will say they are not available if they actually aren't. They're just too lazy and not willing to make it. I'm surprised my son even got his iced coffee. And even more surprisingly, they actually offered a refund this time around unlike the first time they pulled this nonsense a couple weeks back.

The sausage patties on the sandwiches were far too well done, almost like they tried to cremate the sausage.

This place should be avoided at all costs. They're more worried about taking care of the old farts who lounge around inside and sip on...
