Campus Drive-In — Restaurant in Gate City

Ordered waited about thirty to forty minutes for our food. The food sat in the window for about eight to ten minutes. Brought food to table my husbands food was cold where it sat so long. We got up to leave because it was cold. Was going to pay for the drinks, but the lady said to go on. The young man that was taking orders smarted off very rude. The place needs more help. No one wants to eat cold hamburger steak, mashed potatoes and green beans. The young man needs to learn some manners. The older lady apologized to us. She was trying to wait tables and run the register. If I owned the place the young man would have apologized to the customers or I would have fired him. Some young people need to learn respect to get respect. If there had been a zero that is what I would have choose. Hope they get it together we liked...

I have only had 2 experiences here the 1st time was an absolute delight but the second time wasn't. I call in my order didn't check it there but when I left with it and realized it's not what I ordered so I call them to have it fixed and get told well that's what's on your ticket? My ticket? That means whom ever took my order got it wrong because she was more worried about rushing me off the phone rather than worrying about what I'm wanting. To someone that has a lot of money 6.00 isn't a big deal but when you don't have a lot of money like I do then 6.00 is a lot and it's not even about the money it's about the fact that the food was for my 4 year old son that's a very picky eater and with me telling them this, it didn't even matter. Called to place an order for the first time EVER and the lady was EXTREMELY rude! She kept blowing after every question I asked and since I was ordering for my family of 4 she was sooo annoyed with me! It’s her job to answer the phone and take orders, she doesn’t have to like it but she could at least pretend she wasn’t about to die just because she’s having to do her job. When I was fdone ordering she asked for my name, and hung up on me after I told her, no price, no time frame of when I was supposed to pick up the order, NOTHING! I’ve heard nothing but good things about the food but I’ve heard nothing but bad things about the service (that’s why we called a order in to go) and boy did I QUICKLY realize that all those people who said the ladies are rude and hateful...
