Taco Bell — Restaurant in Gate City

Easily one of my worst experiences in fast food. I went with my fiancée, and we ordered two Luxe boxes. Every item in her order was wrong, and when I attempted to get it replaced, the manager assured me that I was wrong, and the order was in fact, correct. I couldn't see a walking stick, so I'm fairly certain she wasn't blind, but in any case, she couldn't be persuaded with the wrong order in front of her. I was then prompted to bring MY order inside, and pick it apart in front of her to prove that it wasn't her order, like I'm incapable of discerning what is and is not Creamy Jalapeno sauce. In any event, the sauce was nowhere to be found, despite it being called for on each of her items. Also, I found out later that one of my items was wrong as well (a 5 layer burrito with only 3 layers - I guess she couldn't see the other 2?)

And that's not even the worst of it, or the end of it: the above is already enough for this to suck massively, but BONUS POINTS, I'm Autistic. I know what we ordered, and I wasn't leaving until I got it made right. Call me a Karen, whatever. We paid 2 bucks extra for that Jalapeno Sauce, and by the Greek Gods we WILL HAVE IT.

So, anyway, the manager continues to fight with me, and at this point keeps making me repeat what the order was supposed to be (despite it being written down on paper in front of her, again calling into question the effectiveness of her ocular perception, but I digress). I could see the other employees giving me pained looks as if to say "sorry," and I truly feel for them working under her daily.

Now, after a period of time, our order is finally ready, and the manager prompts me to open the order and inspect the items one by one. At this point, I was nearly having a meltdown, shaking, anxiety attack, the works. I open the first item to find it was placed upside down, and its contents begin to pour out but I catch it in time. By some grace of Hades, another customer walks in and asks for something, I can't recall what, but I just took the chance to escape out the front.

Now, the icing on the cake? She overstuffed everything to the brim, and basically drowned it in Creamy Jalapeno sauce, in a clear act of malicious compliance. 0/10, cannot recommend, and I don't think we'll be going back. You're better off driving to Kingsport, or just have La Carreta...

The best thing about this place is the inside atmosphere . Maybe it's because there's never any one eating inside, so it's peaceful. They NEVER get it right , or it takes 30 mins for 1 order , then it's either cold or wrong . I have given many chances for them to NOT mess it up ! I'm just over it ! I will NOT be going back any time soon . Also don't like the fact that I have to use a kiosk to order inside when staff is available, and they tell you , ypu have to use the kiosk, NO thanks , and NO I don't!

Do I get claim my time on my taxes ?

Nacho bell grande tastes like it's been sitting under a heat lamp, and any amount of time under a heat lamp is to much time . Soft and soggy. The "NEW " power bowls ... blah ! I got chicken. The chicken was like it had a bounce to it's spring 🤢 like😫 chewing on an eraser with grit . I wouldn't be surprised if it was cell grown . Trash , and thats where it went. If this is what it's going to be like . I'd rather go...

Figured I would stop on my way home, because I hadn't eaten and was hungry. My first time visiting the fast food chain since the grand opening. I ordered a grilled stuff burrito with Chicken, 3 soft tacos and a spicy potato taco. Did not see it on the screen so when i got to the window i had asked the young girl if she got my 3 tacos and potato taco, she stated no and proceeded to ask me what I wanted to add to my order. I then proceeded to tell her, got my food and got home and low and behold it was wrong. I received a dry A** XXL grilled stuff steak burrito with nothing but rice, shredded cheese and steak Yuck!!! The other soft tacos were a mess.. So, I'm furious and called the business multiple times with no answer. I gave up on calling. What a total waste of almost $12.00. I will never, ever go back. Taco Bell on stone drive is by far the best Taco Bell I...
