Bloom & Berry Coffee House — Restaurant in Gatlinburg

We came to Gatlinburg for the weekend and stop by at this coffee shop but for breakfast one morning. We all got different types of specialty drinks. I got the folklore which has honey and cinnamon. It was very tasty. The taste was subtle, just perfect. I usually get an espresso shot, however, it was strong enough for me to not get one. My sister got the the blackberry white mocha iced. The blackberry taste it was just perfect with the hint of chocolate it wasn't very sweet because they were able to accommodate our low sweetness request. My other sister got the greenbrier iced. They make their own brown sugar syrup which really made the drink different. I think it was the best out of the three that we had purchased. We also got some chocolate croissants and croissant roll. They were very tasty pop them in the microwave for 15 seconds and they taste just fresh! The staff was very kind and sweet!...

I visited this café and ordered a 20-ounce Café Au Lait. After my first sip, I nearly spit it out—it was terrible. Hoping to resolve the issue, I politely asked if I could swap it for a cappuccino. Instead of accommodating the request, the staff member simply flipped her screen around and began charging me for a new drink. When I questioned whether I’d really have to pay again for something I didn’t enjoy, she confirmed that I would.

I walked out disappointed. The glowing reviews don’t reflect the actual quality of the coffee here. It seems like many of these reviews come from tourists who may not know much about specialty coffee. What I received was essentially watered-down milk with barely any espresso in a massive 20-ounce cup—definitely not what a well-made Café Au Lait...

My husband and I love coffee but I have to limit my caffeine. When we travel, I almost give up finding good coffee. Many coffee house have overly sugared decaf drinks but not here! This was the best accidental find! My husband loved the spicy chai and it was spicy in a really good way. I enjoyed the decaf trailhead which was basically like a maple latte- it was amazing. The flavor was not too sugary! Milk options galore! Our son had a cherry lemonade that was tart and refreshing.! The service was super friendly and accommodating. We would choose this comfy and inviting place anytime over a chain. We didn’t try the baked goods but they all looked amazing! We can’t wait...
